Support Group Reminder - TONIGHT!

Hey Ya'll Just a friendly reminder that tonight starting at 6:30 pm is the very first Crawfordsville Area Peer Support Group meeting. Open to anyone in the surrounding Crawfordsville Area (or anyone willing to travel a little) interested in weight losss surgery, pre ops, and post ops. Bottle water will be provided. Location of this meeting is at the Shady Knoll Apartments Club House (200 Knoll Circle Crawfordsville). This is a Peer Support group where everyone will have a voice on topics and concerns of wls. Meetings do not count towards any insurance/hospital requirements but will be a good basis for personal peer support. Everyone have a good day! Jodi

Thanks Ellen. Hopefully sometime in the future you'll be able to attend because it would be really great to have you there. I know I'd eventually like to offer meeting twice a month. One during daytime hours and one for night time but for now it's just one Thursday a month. I'm hoping for a moderate to good turn out. I passed flyers out at local doctor's offices and other places - so I'm hoping the news is getting out. We'll just have to wait and see. I put you and your sister on our prayer chain and wish your sister much strength and guidance thru her ordeal. Jodi

Thanks Sherri, I'm "butterflies in the stomach" nervous but I'm sure I'll be fine. Been printing out signs and info material this afternoon. I'm just hoping for a good turnout even though I know it will take futher time for this to be what I want it to be. But as long as one person shows up I figure I did okay, hahaha. Gage thanks he left his baseball hat at at Donna's whle we were there swimming. I'm assuming you know her email address or phone number. It's camo with a four leaf clover on it (For Notre Dame)... could you check to see if she could possible have it and if so give her my email address so I can retrive it. Thanks.

Jodi, You're gonna do terrific! They way you are able to easily make friends and make people comfortable??? Hon, you are going to make this support group terrific and something that everyone looks forward to coming to! I sent your PS to Donna. She was out of town last weekend but I don't know if it was for just the weekend or not. She may not be a PC nut like me either, but I'm sure she'll write you as soon as she sees it. Sherri
