Good Morning!!! I think my scale is very happy that I joined the Y! And when the scale's happy, I'm happy hehehe ! I tried on my bathing suit that's an 18 that I had bought for our honeymoon in Vegas at the end of October. It fits already! Now if only these size 18 jeans would cooperate! I was a little sad though. That bathing suit is so cute and really doesn't look too bad on me, but when I put it on, I notice a very small hole in it- right in the middle of the tummy , so not sure what to do with it, any suggestions? I am exactly 5 pounds away from weighing the least I have ever weighed as an adult. Jeepers that seems weird- to be the thinnest I've ever been but still so fat. I think I really struggle telling the difference between fat and extra skin. But hey, I'll take this over my starting weight anyday of the week! I have no regrets, and I'm loving this journey! But like everyone, I wish I had my magic fat wand and *poof!* could be at goal. My big goal is to be in Onederland by my one year. I need to continue to lose about 10 pounds a month to make that happen, and since that's about what I'm averaging for losses (11 pounds for june, 13 pounds for July) I'm sure hoping I can make that happen. How are the newbies and Ed doing this morning?

Good morning folks. I am heading down to Carmel this afternoon for my 9 month check-up with Dr Cacucci and the Dietician. Hope to run into Sam since she is getting her drain removed today. I am hoping to get some good advice on what is going on with my body these days. I have been feeling so much better the last few days. Even managed to get to Church yesterday and did not fall asleep. Mariah No I never snore in church. I do bobble my head at times. Also pass a little gas and then point to the little old lady that sits in front of me. After I first had my surgery and the gas problem was at its peak, I would pass a little gas when the pastor gave an altar call and everyone around me would head for the front of the church. The preacher always thought he must have really preached a powerful sermon. Papa Dan

Good Morning! Counting down the hours till this damn drain comes out. Last night I couldn't help it and I laid on my left side where the drain was. It wasn't too uncomfortable at all. I am so grumpy because I haven't been getting good sleep. It will feel so nice to sleep on my tummy tonight!! Hoping to see Dan today when I venture up to Carmel. Tummy is feeling yucky this morning. Not sure why. I ate my breakfast and now I am going to try and drink some water. I'm afraid I'm becoming dehydrated. Oh well, I'll post how my 1 week follow up goes! Have a great day everyone!! Sam

I felt a little yuckier everyday until the drain came out. Literally 30 seconds later I felt so much better! That was the first day I had gotten all three meals in, I remember that. Does anyone have an appt on August 18th with Dr. C? that's when my next one is.

Gee Sam if you are going to be grumpy I may just You will feel better when that tube comes out. You will be surprised at how long that sucker is. I remember I was always worried that I would pull it out if I moved to much. Ha Ha it must have been a half mile long (just kidding). I will look for you this afternoon and look for me Dan

Dan I could never be grumpy with you!! I just take it out on my innocent boyfriend I swear this drain is the only thing that makes me feel like I have had surgery! Once it is out I am ready to rock and roll!!! Sam
