Sunday Morning
Good Morning! Just finished up breakfast and motivating to take a shower here. Not sure what I'll do today. Might go run some errands with mom just so I can get out. I am learning I HATE TV. There are so many damn food commercials on. Yesterday I did really well getting in more water than ever before. I was real proud of myself. Going to try and get the full amount in today *crosses fingers* I am still having problems with protein. It just doesn't sit right. I found some real yummy mix but I only drank a few ounces before I felt sick. Might try some Profect or more Isopure today. Well off to shower! Have a great day!!
Sam
P.S. Only one more day till my drain comes out!!
waving hi...to everyone....gonna try and post...though i did have no problem getting here today...so hopefully no problem sending this...
a gal at eds work works 10 hours a day she drives a forklift and she was right back as well, not even sure it was 3 weeks....she went through st V as well..so guess call yourself lucky...that is major surgery no matter and i remember for months taking a nap....just being tired....guess our bodies tell us what we need....sure glad i did not work...takes time to adjust and get to taking your meds and water and proteins all in....maybe she was off longer but sure did not seem like it....
I may just go out side and do a few things it had been so darn hot...
having the drain out was awesome....could sleep then anyway i wanted.......that thing needs to be outlawed....lol. i know though it is a good thing all in all....
everyone enjoy your day....
good afternoon: Mariah,Sam and Dan: glad to hear you are all doing good. Guess I was lazy after surgery, I had six weeks of sick time available and I used it. My doc didn't even question it. I was bored and ready to go back to work at 4 wks though. Lucky me, I didn't have a drain. Don't think I missed a thing from what I've heard about them. Well we threw a party last night and EVERYONE came. I think the turnout was around 100 peolpe. We even had a live country band. It was fun and the weather was perfect. If you all lived closer you'd have been welcome to join us. The more the merrier. Well I'm just going to veg out the rest of the day since we have our clean up all done. I'm beat. We served 100 hot dogs, 40 pounds of grilled chicken strips and 20 pounds of sloppy joes.
