Quickie Question

Hey all.. Happy Wednesday!!!! .. Closer to the weekend!! Quick Question.. I have my consultation on Friday at St V with Dr. Gupta, and someone said that if you want to meet with the Doctor you have to pay to meet with her.. Is that usually covered by insurance,, and if not,, do you know how much it cost to meet with her??????? Thanks Heather..

It probably depends on your insurance coverage. I have insurance through Anthem (Traditional II) and when I met with Dr. Inman after the consultation, it was covered by insurance.

i did not have insurance coverage. when i met with dr huse following the seminar, the cost was $190. good luck to you! deb -261

Heather, call the office. I bet the first 6 months at least are covered as part of the surgery.... So I dont know anything for sure. My first one with dr C was covered. They didnt ask me for anything monday. Mariah

Heather, I was never asked for a dime. I have Anthem & they covered 100% of the RNY (and 100% of everything else that I've had happen to me since then). The only thing I had to pay for was the pyche eval, but I don't remember how much that was...$75 maybe..?? Sherri

Heather, I think it took all of maybe 2 weeks...if that. Anthem did really good for me, but I have heard that it varries depending on who the employer is. I hope your's goes really quick as well. You're going to love Dr. Gupta. I know I do! Sherri
