Feeling a little better...

Thank you all for your encouraging words. I didn't sleep too great last night and I am sure tonight will be worse. I still have a lot of anxiety but with the great support here, I am sure I can do it. It's a lot to prepare for. Oh and FYI...I got a call from Heather today that my surgery has been moved up to 10AM. So I should be back in my room by 2PM hopefully. I am going to go eat my last Burger King Breakfast now and get ready to hit Sam's Club and make get my nails done to help relax me. Sam

Sam, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a restful night and an uneventful surgery and hospital stay! The time will pass quickly. And after getting through the first difficult three to four weeks of full liquids, when your clothes start getting looser and you start getting your energy back, you'll be so glad you made this decision! I'm 7 weeks out and I get happier every day. Good luck - I believe God will bless you for your courage - you are taking charge of your health and your future!
