Mmm...It's Sunday and coffee tastes great!

Good morning everyone! I'm about to get started on stuff for work. Ugh. Procrastinating I guess...lol. Hope you all enjoy the day. Suppose to be nice and toasty today! LOVE the heat!! Sherri

Hey Sleazey - OPPPS I mean Sherri, I'm hanging at the pool today relaxing. Gonna bbq some shrimp and sausage with polenta for lunch. Not sure what's for dinner. Gonna spend this next week getting things ready for my weekend with my dad. The mass on his liver is completely gone and the mass on his lung is slowly (real slowly) shrinking. They are still keeping him on the chemo, though that worries me because the longer he's on the chemo the more his immune system makes him subseptible(?) to bone cancer. That's how my grandmother died. Not from the lymphomic cancer but bone cancer due to all the chemo treatments lowering her immune system and her bone marrow. I've found that I've reverted to calling him "Daddy" instead of "Dad". It makes me feel so child like to see him like this because I'm incapable of making things better for him, which is what I really want to do. But I'm sooo looking forward to spending five days with him. But anyways enough of my rambling.... IT"S HOT OUTSIDE - HOLLY COWS!!!!!!! Hugs Jodi

Busy busy day here! Had lunch with Grandma. Prepared her I wouldn't be able to go out to eat for awhile since I would be on a diet. I am not telling her what I am doing as I just don't think she will "get it" plus she is 80 and has more important things to worry about...like her own health! We did go to Walgreens and I got some Citrical chews and baby spoons. Then visited Tucker's Drug Store for a supply of 1oz. cups. Tomorrow I am heading to Sams Club for the final food stuffs. Mom and Dad came out and took me to dinner at Outback. So now I must get ready for my official last meal tomorrow AM. Sam
