Im doing great and will be dischared tomorrow.

Well yesterday was the big day. I was to arrive at 8:30 but I was here at 7 am. They took me right back, They had me change into a gown, they drew blood and then the clergy had prayer with me. Things were going pretty good. My husband was with me and not to long after we arrived my parents howed up. First thing they did was weigh me, Then get vitals...I was so worried I would have a temp and they would send me home but I didnt. The next thing that was gonna send me home was my potassium level but it was just above the lowest number that was acceptable for them.....wheeeeeeeeeeeew Yesterday I could have nothing but ice chips....Then today I got to have clear liq breakfast (apple sauce and Jello and lunch. For supper I just had full liquids....it was mashed potatos with garlic. Ive been walking all my laps today and Ive walked 2 miles so far. Today I had some wonderful company. It started out that Sara came for a visit....Man is she beautiful. She looks amazing Her pictures dont do her justice. Then later Dan and Ann showed up. My family and loved talking with them. Last and by all means not least....Sam showed up with her mom. My family is amazed how kind and wonderful all you have been. That ppl I had never meet would do so much for me. Thank you.... To all the ones that sent gifts and brought flower/plants and who gave me clothing. I cant thank you enough....U are AWESOME ppl Mariah

Mariah I just reported on my visit with you. What a great family you have and they seem so supportive of your decision to have this surgery. I forgot you had your lap top with you and was surprised to see you posting here already. We really enjoyed our visit with you. Maybe Andy is right we are a WLS cult in the best light. Papa Dan

Hey papa Dan, I wanted to post last night but couldnt figure out what the password for the hospital was....the night shift knew they had wirless internet but they didnt know how to use it. Then they finally found out the passwork and the login...but they didnt know what screen to put it on. Well by 2 or 3 this afternnon inbetween visits a nurse came in and told me to call IS..thru the hospital phone and the techy guy had me up and running in less than 2 min. So here I be....your baby girl....lol My family really loved meeting you all. They can believe how kind u all were to someone u had never met before....I think u are all pretty great too. Just one day i wasnt online and I have over a hundred new emails from posts on OH and yahoo and msn wls groups.....lol Yes Andy did say we were all like a cult....but hes really all behind me and so are my parents. I just had my first protein shake and my second dose of Liquid lortab. I drank 1/2 of the crystal light bottle then went back to water. Didnt care for warm water...might put the rest on ice later. Im still walking the halls every hr. My mom keeps that whip out....LOL I miss you all and Im sick that I cant go to the clothing exchange this time Just didnt fall at a good time with my surgery just yesterday and they wont let me drive for up to two weeks... I can't believe you are online so soon. You are so strong. I was still in the ICU on day three. You go girl!!! I'm sending you hugs and strength. If you ever need to talk just call me.
