Mariah Baker Update
Ann and I were in Indianapolis this afternoon and stopped by to see Mariah (Pam). Sam Fox was suppose to drop up and see after she finishes her class this afternoon.
She was sleeping 
when we arrived but I managed to wake her up of course. She is use to working night shift so she gets her sleep during the day. Not when Papa Dan is there to wake her up though. She decided that since I am the oldest person on this board that I will now be Papa Dan to you guys. 
I dropped a gift bag off (which she greatly appreciated and sends her thanks to all of you) and met her husband Andy (who told me that we are not a support group but a cult)lol and her mother and dad. We gabbed for about an hour or so. She really looks great and I told her I checked the lap board to make sure she is walking.
She has already completed her first mile plus. 
Hopefully she will be going home tomorrow. She probably will not be at the clothing exchange since she plans to go to her mom and dads since her husband will be gone next week and can not drive while on the pain meds. That way they can give her support and a kick in the butt if she does not follow directions. lol
It was nice to see some of the staff on the bariactic floor. This is the first time I have been back up there since my surgery in Nov. Of course they did not recognize me and I forgot to take my before picture with me, and they did ask if I had one.
Unless something drastic happens, we will see you all on Saturday.

Mariah said I missed you by about 15 minutes! I did stop up and check on our gal Mariah. She looks fabulous! She was working on a bottle of Crystal Light and they said if she drank that with no problem, she could be off of her IV. She all was clicking away on her laptop when I walked in. She is doing just great!!

That is sooo wonderful to hear!!!!!!! I've been worried about her.. I'm soo excited that she is doing great!!!! We all knew she would!!!

I wish I could be there on Saturday, but can't find a babysitter since we have this big festival thing going on this weekend down here!!!! I was soo hoping to go too!!!
