Did anyone have a problem going from 2 to 3 ounces at each meal? I am having a hard time getting the 3 ounces I am feeling too full. I am eatting slow and not drinking 30 mins before too. I know this sounds wierd but I am too full to eat the last ounce.....lol. Bonnie

Bonnie, Don't pu**** Not everyone can get up to what their post-op time on the yellow sheet says. If it takes you to 3 months..or even 4 to get in the 3rd ounce, don't sweat it. Think of it as an 'allowable' amount not a minimum amount. Sherri

I have been trying to get that 3rd ounce in too. I have never been able to. I just put it on my plate and feel real good to be out of the empty plate club for the first time in my life!! Carmen

Hi Bonnie, It seems like every program has a different schedule. I was supposed to go from 2 oz to 4 oz at 3 months (end of June for me). I had the same problem. I finally asked the dietition and she told me the same thing everyone else has been saying. "Just eat what you can and make sure it is good for you." I found that I am able to eat more now that I have relaxed about it. I can eat 4 oz of some things if they are moist enough (refried beans, soups, etc.) and can still only eat 2 oz of drier things - meats, and so on. So I just try to make sure I'm getting in my protein and a few veggies or fruits each day. So just relax, your body will let you know when you can handle more. Cindy
