Need help please

I`m in Illinois And am 1 clearance test away from being done with them and have to find another facility to do the lap band,because the hospital that my surgeon practices at is not a Center of Excellence.IDPA now requires all bariatric surgeries be done at a Center of Excellence.They will pay for me to go out of state if the Dr.accepts it.So my question is,are there any Centers of Excellence in Indianna that accepts IDPA.Please help. Kimberly, The only Center of Excellence hospital that I know of is Carmel St Vincents. You might want to call them and ask about if they accept your insurance. Hope this helps. Bonnie

Kimberly, I dont know what IDPA is but they were correct in telling you that St. Vincents is the only Hospital in IN that is a Center of Excellence. I know that 2 others are trying hard to get their approval and may have it by next yr. So if u want to call St. Vincent I can get you their phone number. I have it at home just not with me at the moment. Mariah
