Good morning and happy 4th! Busy busy busy day yesterday! My family celebrated the 4th yesterday, as all of us have to work early tomorrow. Decided to try half a piece of chicken breat that I marinated and we grilled. I still struggle SO much with chicken, and it sucks because it's really about the only meat that I like. I was pretty miserable for about an hour after i ate, and it darn near came up in front of everyone- had to make a mad dash to the bathroom, and even then I was just spitting saliva for about 5 minutes. THen the ol pouch changed its mind and decided to let the chicken through. Back to bean and cheese protein today though! I thought the Lite Bana crean pie yogurt from walmart would be a good breakfast. One spoonful and aye chihuahua! So sweet! That coming from someone who has no trouble tollerating sugar! Think I'll have to push these off on my husband. I cant wait for the clothing exchange. I keep wandering into the clothes dept at walmart becuase i need more capris for walking, and I have to keep chasing myself out of there saying "clothing exchange in less than two weeks, you need to wait, especially with money being tight." Its so hard to wait! I *DID* get a new bra yesterday ($4.94 at walmart) and how excited was I that I bought (annd can comfortably wear) a 38C! They were worth every penny- my hubby really likes them!

I tell him to remind myself WHY I Had the surgery.... I AM to stupid to do it on my own,... need this little tool to be a ummmm "gentle reminder". Chicken, I remember when I first started getting it down it was VERY small peices and had to be wrapped in mashed potatoes or gravy.. Happy 4th.. Darrah, Try the rotiserrie chicken at Sam's club (or any grocery). It is very moist and goes down easier. Grilling takes a lot of the moisture out. If you are going to try grilled again, take a tiny sip of water just before you swallow. Just enough to moisten that bite. Make sure that you chew a couple of more times to make sure the moisture gets INTO the meat before you swallow it. That's the only way I can get some things down. Good Luck. Cindy

Just got done having lunch with Eric. Got a call this morning that my grandma's blood pressure was really low (50 something over 80 something.) So now she is headed to the ER. Am supposed to go to Mom and Dad's for a cookout etc but now its all up in the air with grandma. Oh well...I'll just have to wait it out and see. Sam
