I want to give all of you 
for all your wonderful words of encouragement and thoughts during this hard time I have had since last what lol july or august. Surgery went fine, Dr Huse is a great man. I loved most of my nurse's, I guess from what I was told I was mean looking one for making me walk afternoon of surgery, I do not remember ! I got to come home Friday afternoon, feeling pretty good. Yesterday, I managed to get all my preotein drink( 1 c/powdered milk,4/c 1% milk) down and took all my med's and I have to give myself the 2 shots a days of blood thinner in my belly, which amazed me it does not hurt. I felt so blotted last nite when I went to bed and I still do this morning, I have had 2 small bowel movements today so far. I am wondering did I over do the fluid intake yesterday? I am just wanting nothing to go wrong specially since I am doing everything I am supposed to and no problems so far. Glad to know I can tolerate MILK!!!!!!!! I love my milk and cheese lol. My stomache is sore, it was an open procedure but not too bad. I am still wearing my sexy knee high's ( I feel like Vickie Lawerance from Mamma's Family or whatever her show was. So if any of ya go past a house and see some crazy lookin person walking up and down a drive way, wearing tennis shoes and white knee highs , ya better honk at me 
. Seriously tho, this site has and will continue to be the most helpful and caring bunch of folks there is. xoxoxoxoxo to all of ya.

Congrats on your surgery! And welcome to the losing side. I had Dr. Huse and I simply love that man!! He is so kind, sweet and really funny! I did alot of research on this type surgery and he came out on top! He has been doing this over 26 years and was the pioneer for the bari center at St. V's. He has the calmest way about him and I am so pleased that I had him. You just do as they say...walk walk walk and sip sip sip and you will be fine! Take care sweetie and know it only gets better from here on in! I will be 5 months out tomorrow and am down 91 pounds!
