Congrats on your new beginning! It is a wonderful ride, you are in for the time of your life! Where is your surgery at, who is your surgeon? Take it easy when you come home, and remember to walk, and sip. It gets better each and every day!!! We will be thinking about you, let us know how things go, and when you are home- check in when you are able. HUgz Dawn

Congrats, Snugglebunny! I'm sooo happy for you. It's coming up in no time. You're going to do great and be soooo happy you've chosen this route. I can't wait for you to be a loser like the rest of us. Keep us posted on your recovery. The next few days are gonna be really stressful and you'll be anxious and wondering if you're making the right decision. That's completely normal. Try to get your house in order, get a few things that you know you'll be able to eat/drink, and make sure that you have someone around that can help. The first few days you'll be pretty down and out. Do what you can, but don't overdo it. My best words of wisdom are to take some easy slip on shoes with good soles so you can walk at the hospital. Crazy me thought I'd be fine with the slippers that they gave us and my calves were killing me from walking on the floors with cement under them for soooooo long. Keep us posted.
