Today I went in for my 6-month check up and I thought I was doing really great according to my scales at home, but the scales at the Drs office says not as good as I thought. According to my scales I was down about 103 pounds but the scales at the Dr said I was only down 93 pounds. Very disappointing day for me. Thanks for listening to me rant for a minute. Kylie

93 pounds in six months is AWESOME!! Seriously, you shouldn't be disappointed at all. Just set your scales back 10lbs so that your even with your doctors scale. But seriously Kylie, that's just so awesome. That's 93 lbs you HAD.. not HAVE!!! Seriously, AWESOME... GOOD JOB...

When was the last time you lost 93 pounds in 6 months? The DR scales are always different for me too, but they normally say I weigh less than at home (and I am A-OK with that!). But do you normally weigh in the morning and nakkid? if so dont forget any water you drank, your clothes, your shoes, etc etc are gonna add to that number. 93 pounds in 6 months is great. sure hope IM down that far in 6 months! We'll know in August!

Kylie, I know how down you fell but everyone is right , be ever so happy that you have lost that much, I am almost 8 months out and only lost 70 pounds and I so wanted to have 20 more pounds off and because of the hystrorectomy I am not. Please be so happy, that is still alot. I do mean ALOT. I am so happy for you to be losing that much, Just remember before you had your surgery and how hard it was to get it off. I know inside you are just dancing away in excitement. Lisa

Kylie~ I agree w/ everyone else.... 93 is freaking awesome! It is sooo hard to not focus on the number. I am in the same boat as you and it is very discouraging. I keep reminding myself that this is a journey, not a race. But seriously though, you are doing good so try not to stress out about it. ((Hugs)) jaimee
