I was hoping anyone who has had this problem could shed some light on it for me. I am 10 months out, I am chronically exhuasted, I have to make myself do anything, Has anyone had this problem. I do get in a lot of protein, bariatric vitamins, but the exhaustion is unbelievable anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Maryann

Mary Ann, I am going thru the same thing right now. I have an appointment with my PCP on Thursday. From what I have read on other post and articles on B-12 deficiency, I think this may be my problem. I know some people who are taking B-12 shots monthly have had to take a shot every two weeks or supplement the shot with sublinal tablets once a week. This is something you should discuss with your PCP or Surgeon. They can tell from having a blood test done to check to what your B-12 levels are. Here is a very good article relating to B-12 deficiency. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000574.htm Hope this helps. Dan

MaryAnne.... As Dan mentioned, a deficiency in B12 can cause fatigue. Other things that I have experienced which may as well: Under active/Inactive Thyroid Dehydration (remember that when it's 80 plus outside, 64 oz may not be enough for you! If your urine is yellow, you need to drink more water!) Hypoglycemia Sherri
