Sherri - Hope Bill gets some good news! When do you leave for Vegas? Catching up on some work since the server went down yesterday I feel like I lost a whole days work. It's amazing how much we rely on computers! This weekend will be cleaning, organizing, as well as shopping for a bridal shower and new baby gift. Scheduled my pre-op testing today for July 5th. Might take the 3rd off as well and make it a real long weekend. Can't decide yet. Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Sam

Sam, We leave for Vegas on June 29th (next Friday) and come back on July 7th. It'll be our 2nd time this year (just went in Feb/March), 4th in all. We weren't able to do all the things we wanted to then. We had went with another couple and the hubby was a control freak. We did what HE wanted to do. This time, we'll do what WE want to do. It'll be the first time we've been there in the 'summer' so I'm really looking forward to it. We want to be sure we could handle the heat there. When I retire (~9 yrs), we'd like to relocate to there. Sherri

Sherri, Have a Fanstastic time in Sin City! We will be there 12 days the end of September / First of October. I love May and October out there. We go several times a year but have never gone in the dead heat of summer yet. Maybe next summer....Jon would like to start going there about every other month but that 4 hour flight gets me antsy...lol Let me know if it gets too hot to really enjoy it in summer. Jon would move there in a heartbeat but I love visiting but when you get away from the glitz it really looks pretty dirt and depressing unless you move to the outskirt cities like Henderson. Friends of our have already put in for a condo in a gated over 50 complex in Henderson and plan on moving there in the spring. I know you 2 will have a ball! Eat some shrimp for me!! HUGS! Marianne

Marianne, You sound like me. i love to travel those months best too. For 2 reasons, one the weather is not to hot and the biggest reason are all the families with kids arent on vactation yet. Love to travel when kids are in school. I love kids but not on vacation, esp when so many ppl dont make their kids mind anymore. I want to relax not have screaming kids all around. Thanks Sam, Amy called me back and mine is next week. Its on the 27th which is my birthday and then on the 28th is my pre op testing. My mom is going with me becouse my husband will be out in LA.
