Medicaid and July 1st.........

I know that the law goes into effect supposedly July 1st for the new rules, but I was told by someone in Dr. Lindsay's office that they have to wait until they received written documentation from Medicaid before they can even begin to submit the paperwork for anyone with medicaid which could take an additional couple of months . Has anyone else heard this? and does anyone have a number for medicaid?? I tried contacting them via the number on the back of my card and it's automated and they want a provider number and I couldn't get to a customer service rep or anything, after 3 incorrect entries it tells you to try back with the correct number. I even tried putting in my medicaid number hoping it would either help or give me the option to speak with someone. If anyone knows anything or knows how I can contact medicaid I'd appreciate any and all help! Thanks so much in advance for any and all info!! ~Sabrina

I've always called 1-800-577-1278 and reached customer service each time for Medicaid.
