Don't sweat the small stuff. I use all caps when I want to emphasize the emotion behind a word (disbelief, excitement, or just the absurdity of the idea), but it isn't usually anger. I have heard that using all caps is like shouting or talking really loud, but I still get e-mails from people that are just more comfortable with it. I don't take it personally. Whoever e-mailed you really needs to broaden their horizons. Most people on here take what you say in the manner you intended. For those rare individuals that don't...that's THEIR problem, NOT yours. Most of the people on here are sweethearts just looking for friendship, understanding and someone to just listen (or offerring just those things). And you are obviously one of us. Cindy

Gail...I agree with Dan....anyone who has problems with someone using CAPS has too much time on their hands It isn't written in STONE that caps mean you are angry.....just something that was made up a long time ago when PC's took off. There is no official chat ettiquette-just people who have too much time on their hands So type on young lady and use whatever format ya like.....some people use CAPS because they can not see very well and it is easier to read. But people need to read a post for what it is....and not the style used to write it eh? Have a wonderful day
