thoughts and feelings...
I can't believe how much food had a hold on me. This is the first full weekend of being post-op and I thought about how much Ralph and I loved to go out to dinner on weekends. I was watching tv this afternoon and had to turn it off because of all the commericals.... Outback steak, McDonalds, Olive Garden.... it wouldn't stop! What the hell... I NEVER noticed how much those commericals ran a day ... until today.
Yes, I would LOVE to have some pizza... steak.. chicken! But you know what... I know better! I know it would ruin everything and make me sick ...or even worse distroy the surgery I had on May 25th.
It's just strange... no actually new to be able not to go out to dinner and save between 20-40 bucks! Heck, I'll need that money for new clothes when school begins in Aug!
Just my thoughts and feelings....

SOON!!! You and hubby will go out to dinner. Hubby and I met Angie, Deb, Peggy and her family at Red Lobster..
Hubby ordered an ultimate seafood dinner.. I ate his fried shrimp (4) and some of his mashed potatoes, a few bites of his salad and 1 biscut!! YUM!!!! Yes, I could have eatten more salad and skipped the biscut.. but what kind of nut would actually skip one of those drop biscuts from RED LOBSTER??? What a treat!!
Hubby and I eat out all the time.. he orders a regular menu and I eat off the childrens menu. WOW do we save money now!!!
When I first came out of surgery I was soo head hungry,, I went to Grays Caferteria here in Mooresville and had an order of mashed potatoes and gravy.. it was like eatting the whole meal the gravy was sooo flavorful.. you can try that too...
