Thanks - Sorry it took so long.
Thank you to those of you *****sponded to my 5/29 message. I'm sorry I took so long, but I was waiting to get the results of my blood tests since you had asked about them. Unfortunately, I did not get any details, just an e-mail saying they are fine except for my white cell count. My regular doctor had requested a couple of extra tests at the same time I had the bariatric tests done. So I already knew that there were white cells in my urine. I get to give another "specimen" tomorrow so they can do a culture.
The bariatric office is supposed to fax the results of the tests they ordered to my regular doctor's office. I'll get more information out of them next week, but I wanted to let you all know I am feeling much better. I flushed my system and stayed off the calcium for 3 days and my symptoms eventually disappeared. I am feeling back to normal now and MUCH happier! Btw, I've officially lost 40.1 lbs and am thrilled to death. I tried on some size 18 pants this morning. I'm not quite ready to wear them yet, but I was able to get them on and zipped! (That's down from 24W.) I never dreamed I'd be able to fit into that size this soon. Frankly, before surgery, I told my husband that I would be happy if I just got back into size 16's. I haven't been able to wear them since I was about 17, nearly 30 years ago! Now, I'm actually thinking about maybe being able to wear size 12's someday!?! What a concept.
Well thanks again for all of your comments. I have worked at increasing my fluids. And my husband is helping me keep a closer eye on my meds and supplements. So hopefully, from here on out, it will be much smoother sailing. I hope you all have a great weekend. The weather is supposed to be mild and it sounds like a great weekend to be outside ( boy I hope so, we've got 2 baseball games tomorrow and one on Sunday!). Hope you all get to enjoy it!

WOW!!! I know what you mean... the first time I zipped a pair of 16;s I thought my face would crack from the smile!!!
Glad your feeling better!!! Sometimes it is best just to flush the system and start all over...I know I need to do that... rid myself of all the sugar and fat AGAIN AND JUMP START SOME EXTRA WEIGHT LOSS DURING THIS SUMMER!!

Good luck with that jump start. I'm sure as the weather gets better(more sunny days!) and your knee cooperates, you'll be able to lose just fine.
I had a great weekend. Worked in the concession stand at the ball park and watched my son play (had to miss my daughter's t-ball game though because of the concession stand duty). The weather was great and I had tons of energy for the first time since surgery. The only bad part: I didn't eat good enough. My schedule was thrown off and I didn't get enough protien in, but I have some more protien bars coming from freshenergybakery.com (42 grams in a whole bar, I only have to eat 1/2 at a time; great for my still 2 oz pouch!).
Hope you have a great week.
