TGIF - What Are You're Weekend Plan?

Morning Everyone!!! Hope everyone is doing well. TGIF!!!! Myself and the kid are heading to TH for the weekend. It's the Special Olympics State Games this weekend. Although he's unable to particpate (pulled a back muscle during swim practice and it's not healing well, the doc put him in a back brace the other day) but we will be there all weekend cheering on the other members of our county in all their activities and particpating in the opening ceremonies. Watch the news - because you just might get a glimps of us. Wishing Everyone A Great Weekend!!

Jodi it sounds like you are in for a great weekend and the weather is supposed to be perfect! My husbands Ex-wife is flying in from Germany for my stepsons wedding on the 17th so I promised to take her shopping for an outfit for the wedding. I know it sounds wierd ....but we get along and it is in the best interest of my stepson for us to get along. She and Jon are like oil and water ....but we actually have fun shopping together. The neat thing is...she doesn't know I had my surgery and have been losing weight... so....I am really looking forward to seeing her! You all have a super weekend! HUGS!! Marianne

Hi Jodi~ Thanks for the great weekend wishes! We are going to dinner with close friends tonight. Then tomorrow I am doing a 5k fun walk. My bariatric center is sponsoring all of us, they got us cute tshirts and all that fun stuff. I hope to be able to do the 5K run next year! I have to work Sunday, which is a bummer b/c the weekend is supposed to be beautiful. But I am SO behind at work and I'll be able to get a lot done because none of my Reps will be there!
