The other people who were at the little drinking party. Since the police won't tell us anything yet, we really don't know what happened. You can't believe all of what people who had been drinking says so no, do not believe for a second that Jay was Mr. Innocent...it's just hard for me to believe that he did something to warrent all that we heard. Arrested, ok. Beat up & in the hospital for 2 1/2 days so far..??? No. Not unless it was by someone else who was drinking too...but not by a sober, responsable cop! I'll let you all know what we find out. I also tried contacting the American Cival Liberty Union. Maybe they will help us get some answers. Afterall, if you can't drink and show a little bit of your buttcrack (not the entire butt) on private property, where can you???? Sherri

My nephew had a similar experience. My sister says NOT to use Paul Page. Although the charges were dropped against my nephew, my sister says they had to do all the leg work (getting documents, witness statements, etc.). She says Pete Nugent is a good criminal attorney (phone 882-0149, 7800 S Shelby St., just north of Baxter YMCA). She wishes my nephew had chosen him instead. I don't know if he will wait for his fees, but at least you can talk to him about it. He may be able to tell you how to get some info on your son's condition, at least. Good luck. Cindy
