Well it was back to work tonight. Ive been off since last Wed. I spend Wed - Fri with my husband then on Fri evening he flew back to LAX. The weekend flew by and now he will be home tomorrow again. With the exception of waiting on my approval which seems to be taking an eternity....weeks are just flying by....Feel like Im aging so dang fast. I'll be 43 next month and before u know it I will have my senior citizen discount card. Went shopping with my mom Monday at Sams club and my back and feet were killing me. I was so embarassed. Here my mother is almost 65 and she could have sprinted thru the store and I was crawling in pain. Anymore I feel order than my mother does. She can work circles around me. Im really begining to worry if I'll live if I dont get approved. I dont have the energy to fight an appeal. It gets so cloudy and depressing in my head most of the time. The longer this goes on the worse it gets. Mariah

Good Morning Mariah, I too, know about the walking and back pain. When I was a social worker for Outreach Senior Center, there were so one that looked as pretty as you. But pain takes take away and sure makes as feel like are body has aged faster than we really have.I hope you know you are still in my prayers and always will be. You will have the energy to FIGHT an appeal we will be here for support BUT i pray that doesn't happen and you are approved. GOD GLESS, Gail aka Gayle O.

Good morning everyone, school it almost out. It is hard to belive I have been off work this like since school started this season I have been out of work over 5 month of there school year. It kind of has helped but, if I could only do stuff. I wanted to go fishing so badly this weekend and was told I couldn't. Everyone at work thinks I am having a good o'le time being off right now and I am not. I am tring to take up reading, something I have never really into unless it is something I want to learn about. LOL..... Well have a good day everyone. Lisa B

Ugh, back to the grind today. I really need to do something about finding a better paying job. This job pays so little and is so far from home, it hardly helps at all. But we're pretty far behind from surgery still, so even that little bit has to be done. So wor****il 4, and then water aerobics tonight. I'm really hoping that now that the outdoor pools have opened, the kids will go swim there instead of indoors at lashonna bates. It's hard to swim laps with the kids are throwing basketballs at your head.

Mariah, I so know the felling of waiting. Like you I have tremendous pain in my back and hips when I walk to much. I have had two back surgeries so far and more to come if I am not approved. I am 34 and feel 84 most days. Thank the good lord my PCP gave me lortab for the pain. It doesn't take the pain away but atleast it knocks the edge off. I hope that both of us and anyone else waiting gets speedy approvals. Feel free to email me anytime. Lots of Indy love our way, Amanda

Good Morning! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I have a big presentation at work today at 9 AM. I decided to dress up so thanks to whomever brought the skirt that is reversible (one side paisley the other black and pink polka dot.) I think I look rather nice which I rarely say anymore. Came in at 6AM today so that I can leave early and go to the "Girl" Doctor about an IUD. I also hope to have some testing done around PCOS as some of my symptoms seem to mirror that condition. I'm nice and pink from the sun this weekend as well as relaxed!! Hope everyone has a great day!! Sam

Good Morning All, I'm heading to school but I wanted to check in and say Hi and wish eveyone a good day. Mariah, I am the same way, my Mom is 74 and she always bends over and picks things up for me because my knees and back hurt, besides who can reach the floor? I know what you mean about depression, I take drugs for depression and I think most if not all of it stems from trying to deal with being fat and the pain cause by it (mental, emotional and physical. Dont worry about your typos I didnt even notice any until you apologized! hehehe I guess I speak your language. Blessings. Christine PS Oh yeah when I was taking a shower this am I remembered that I cant wait for my calves to be small enough to fit in boots! and to be able to wear high heels. I want a pair of boots with those skinny high heels! whooo hooo give me a whip and I will be set hehehehe just kidding about the whip .......... I think

Good morning everyone!!! Busy, busy at work. Ah well, it's a short week. Today is my little sister's birthday (Cindy). She's 42. My 'baby' sister turned 30 on May 1st (Bekki). Next week, June 7-9, I'm gong to Philly with Cindy. You know how clinical trials for new drugs has to be done by an impartial company? Hers is one of those impartial companies. Cindy's an RN and sets up the appointments for patients & pulls their labs, etc. She has to do alot of training all over the country for the diferent drug trials with different companies. The one in Philly will be next Thursday & Friday from ~8-4. The hotel (Hilton) has a heated outdoor pool, a jaccussi, and a fitness center. I don't think I'll have any problem keeping busy while she's in her training! LOL! We also plan on playing tourist while we're there. Then it'll be back to work for a few weeks and off to Vegas June 30-July 7th. I've got my foot appointment this afternoon. Given the numbness & pain, I am assuming there will be a surgery based on what was said at the last appointment. I'll let you know tomorrow what is said. Sam....by the time PCOS was suspected with me, I had already had cists removed twice from my ovary, but both ovaries had shrunk so small that they had problems finding them. So...the way they determined it was by doing a glucose intollerence test on me. It's one of the many symptoms. I 'failed' the test. Post-op, I'm off the glucaphage, but have developed into hypoglycemia instead. Good luck with the testing... Sherri
