Best of luck, Julia! You may even be in surgery already and on your way to the losing side. I'll be in the same boat tomorrow - and I'm feeling all of the emotions today... anticipation, fear, excitement. I'm saying a prayer for you. Who knows... maybe we'll meet walking the halls in the hospital!

Julia, By now, your surgery is more than likely done and over. I'm sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery, and I hope everything went well. I currently am in the Lafayette area and am seriously considering the surgery. I know that a support group does meet at the Lafayette Lutheran Church on the last Tuesday of each month. I'm going to attend my first meeting this Tuesday. When and where does the Frankfort support group meet? I would like to get as much info. and talk to as many people as possible before making any concrete decisions. I also noticed you were a teacher for one of the schools. I just graduated from Purdue's school counseling program. I'm looking forward to hearing about your exciting recovery! All my positive thoughts, Rachel
