WOW...What a weekend.

Long story.......some of it is kinda off topic. Friday...worked all day and then proceeded to Bloomington Speedway to work out of our parts trailer and hob-knob with the drivers. Good time. Saturday....Worked at the shop till 2 am and hauled buns to ET Raceway to make my first drag race of the year....good time. Sunday..Rolled out at 4:30 AM to head to Indy to drag race there and left about 6:30 to go home....Good time Heres where it all went wrong....... Martinsville.....feeling icky and puney. Stop at a gas station cause i cant hold it any more and the stool is full of blood. OMG Got home and told Kathy and we called the Dr. and on call was DR. Inman(my doc) and she asked me some basic stuff and advised that as long as im not fainting or dizzy,im OK but if i get that way then to get my tail to the ER.......10 minutes later im laying in the floor with my wife standing over me crying. I layed there trying to remember what happend and after agreeing to go to the ER, i take a quick shower and use the bathroom again......stool is full of red blood and im talking full. Bloomington ER gets me stable,puts me in an ambulance when the doctors there tell me they would be more comfortable with me going to ST.V's. Straight to the ICU where there are people waiting on me to get there and they start filling me full of fluids and start 2 iv's to repair the GI bleed that i have going. Results of the findings is that there is bleeding ulcer and that it was repaired enough by late this afternoon that they released me to come home. Heres my mistake. May 5th is when my Previcid script ran out and the bottle said 0 refills....i assumed i was done taking it. hmmmm, shoulda called the doc on that one for it was a mistake and i now know what happens when you dont take it. Hopefully, tomorrow is a better day and i will check in and let ya know.

OMG...guess u wont let that refill run out again. I guess alot of us will learn from your mistake. Sorry about your ordeal but glad u shared it with us. That was awful. Glad to hear u are doing better. Mariah

WOW this is great....pray this is that and it is over for you....ed being on the blood thinners is what made his so much worse i believe,.. he was taking his meds but sometimes those things happen and the thin blood just compounded it all for him
