Loss of a member of our OH family

Thanks for posting this Dan.. although it is a very sad time for the family it is good for the rest of us to know.. Sometimes we get to ****y and think the surgery is the answer when it is only the beginning of a life of relearning and work. A friend of Anitas died a couple weeks before my surgery and even though it didnt stop me from having surgery if DID remeind me to follow all the orders.. such as practicing my breathing, walking to keep from getting blood clots and eating just like they told me and of course sip sip sip. PS new pic looks good hows the knee.. Mine has really been under some stress from over work this weekend. and I tripped over a downspout yesterday and thought I ripped it off... PAIN!!! hehe (it is still there) Linda

Dan, I was so deeply saddened to hear of John. We hear all the Wow Moments and sometimes forget to remember the danger's involved. I honestly don't know if I could have made the decision to have this surgery when my children were little. I believe that my surgery came about at the time God wanted it to for me. I will hold your friend's family in my prayers and hope that they will remember how much he loved them and wanted to be so much better for them. Thank you for sharing! God Bless! Marianne
