Dawn, I'm suppose to cut back on my walking..yesterday I got ~10,200 steps. Don't laugh, that was down from 16,000. It is so hard not to walk when you are accustomed to it (now that I am accustomed to it anyway). I have my next foot appointment on the 30th. I expect the surgery date to be set then but I already told him that it's a no-go till after we get back from Vegas on July 7th. So for now, I'm just trying to get it to where I'll be able to get around ok when we are in Vegas. I didn't get to walk the strip in March...I WILL this time if I can help it at all. The exercise at work...I met with the guru yesterday morning. He toook me through the routine and then I did it on my own at lunch yesterday & today. The plan is to do it everyday M-F. There are a few of the things I can do at home on the weekends so I don't completely lose my momentum. The biggie is that the work-out was to avoid using the top half of the foot. So..I do 12 reps on 3 weight resistance machines (arms, upper body), 12 reps on 2 different dumbbell exercises (arms), 12 reps on 3 different weight resistance machines (legs, butt). Then I repeat all of it 2 more times. Then I do 12 reps of two different matt exercises, and repeat them two more times. I finish up with 12 minutes on the bike..but I don't put my feet in the stirrups. Instead, I have my foot at the upper half so I'm using my heel to push...to avoid any pressure on the toe half of my feet. So far the exercise is going good but I am wondering if maybe I'm not trying to get another ulcer. Lately I get a tummy aches about 30 minutes after I take my vitamins/pills for the day. It's still a little tender now. I'm going to try to spread them out further in-between tomorrow and see if that helps. That's my foot update...lol. Now as to the 'other' problem...just waiting till it decides to act up again. Then I'll go in and have it snip-snip-snip'ed and be done with it too! LOL! I'm sure you'll be up to 10K in no time. Frustrating when these little pesky problems keeps us from walking, isn't it? OMG...did you think you'd feel this way pre-op??? I know I didn't!! LOL! Sherri

Good Morning! Woke up with an awful migraine. Think it is this funky weather not to mention to Medics and Sheriff's were across the way last night so they lights were flashing in our room forever. Tried a sample of medicine from the Dr. and woke up at 12:30 PM feeling pretty dang good! I am still kind of tender but nothing like this morning. I got my letter from Dr. Cacucci this morning!! Now I am waiting on my letter from Dr. Stote. The only proble is they didn't fill out Anthem's form which is required so I have to call up there and see if they can send that with Dr. Stote's information. It's getting closer and now that the letter is there, I need to really get my butt in gear and get medical records. Going to the OBGYN on the 31st to get the Mirena IUD you all raved about. I am really excited. Have a great day everyone! Sam

Just an FYI, I am an idiot. The form is to be filled out by my PCP. Looks like I will be making an appointment there for next week. Sam
