Jeannie I know this is your big day. I was thinking about u several times tonight. I was wondering how u were sleeping. I know I would be so excited I could barely get any rest. i was so cool clam and collected for my surgery sooo ready for it...but it was such a long time coming i suppose that any nerves i had were gone from dealing with ins issues..... i have my treadmill back out and ready to roll.....hope there are periods of no rain today so i can plant my plants....think i will crank up some music and wake the neighborhood up and get with the program... I still need a day off when ed is working....i never seem to get anything done with him home...oh he went to see dr clark and he was 237 according to those scales....he says the ones home weigh him at 227...which i do not understand cos they weigh me maybe 2 pounds less than st f's scales.....anyway whatever those scales weighed him in at 344 before surgery....sure nothing to sneeze at.....in 5 months...his bmi was 29 o think mine is 28 or so....claims he should weigh 200 at almost 6-4.....why if he turned side ways i would never find him....LOL....i believe with his only being less than 5 months out he will get to 200.. i hear the birds.......

Wow! Its good to know that with all the compliations Ed has had, at least he's reaping the weight loss benefit of it! Darn those men for losing so fast! Though I can't complain. I set my goal to be 300 or less by the 24th of this month before I leave to go to Kansas City to be in my best friends wedding. My scale always shows me weighing exactly 7 pounds MORE than what Dr. Caccuci's does. Today I hit 300 pounds, but I can't wait to go to her office Friday just to be SURE that's really the right number. So I was pretty excited about that. Holding off on a REAL celebration until I see what her scale says friday. When I hit 280 I'm going to treat myself to a new digital scale instead of the old scale I have. But I had no choice when I bought the scale, I needed something that could weigh me up to 380, and none of the digitals did that. Hard to believe I've lost 65 pounds. I sure wish I could see it like others do.

That is just wonderful Darrah, Hey ladies guess what you not going to belive this, but I am going under the knife again, I am to have my one side of my sinus cleaned out. I was suppose to do this last Sept. but because of the wls I couldn't have a surgery for 3 months before or after, so I am hoping this fixes my since of smell I haven't smelt stuff in over 9 months, I also have a blocked sinus, I have really bad hayfever, I also started seeing a alergist while I am off, I figured I would just make a big thing of getting my self fixed. LOL Heck done meet my deductable for the most part and my total pay out. You all have a good day, Just to let you know I fell much better about my sons issue, at least tell me go to court. . Lisa

Darrah, Im so happy for you that u got below 300. I did that very thing on a diet about 3 yrs ago and I remember how much better I felt. For me it didnt last long I ened up gaining back the 40 I lost plus 40 more. Im now at 380. Now u can celebrate and know that the pounds will keep melting off. You are doing amazing and I can see me following in your footsteps. We seem to have alot in common. We started out at about the same wt, bmi and we even have the same Dr. Have a great time at the Wedding. Mariah

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great evening. My daughter came over with 2 of the grandkids so little Miss Myranda got to open her birthday presents...especially Elmo! LOL! Two is such an adorable age...but tiring too 'Myranda no, Myranda stop, Myranda come back'... Still a very cute age though! Chance (5 yrs) wasn't too crazy over the idea of Myranda getting gifts and him nothing. He's use to Mamaw getting something for everyone but I decided that he's old enough to start understanding that this birthday was Myranda's special day. It's great that Ed has lost so much Angie! Hi all hope you all have a great day. I got on the scales Sat and it says 235 down from 303. Yipee for me. I still wi**** would come off faster but oh well at least it is coming off. Today is my babys last day in preschool for the summer. Next year he will go to preschool 3 days a week. Have a great day and try to enjoy it even though the weather is so gloomy. Kylie

Happy Tuesday Everyone, Hope everyone has a great day! I have my injection procedure done this afternoon, so hopefully no more prednizone and hopefully I will be painfree soon and able to walk and exercise more, did I just say exercise? YEP,I want the scales to move so bad I can't stand it!!! My duck shoes have holes in them and they need a break, cmon weather let it be dry for a while, need to have a work crew out to do my roofing, gutters and siding, after the hail storm damage and my boss keeps telling me in order to get er done it has to be dry, I am ready, cmon!!! Angie, great pix, you both have had a time of it, but the journeys you have had are great inspiration to those of us still in the beginning, keep up the great work, you deserve it! AND BOB SEGER is awesome, I may be a little younger, but I remember going to his concert and it was AWESOME!!! Dan, are ya feeling better, you will be dancing soon, look out ANN! Linda, those goodies you mentioned sound so good, I overslept this morning and with my procedure this afternoon, I can not have anything now, so I will be ready for both food and drink this afternoon!
