Kristi, There are alot of factors involved in people choice/need to have PS. The 2 biggest are probably a person's age and how far overweight they were. I will be 45 Saturday and started off over 200 lbs overweight, so yes, PS is in my future. You can exerciise...but if your skin doesn't have the elasticity of a 20 yr old or if you've already stretched it beyond repair, there isn't alot of toning it can do. Each person is unique in that way. Each person is also unique in their decision to have it or not. Some feel they have no choice because they get rashes from the apron. Or an incredible , horrible odor emitting under the folds. Some it's because they'd like to be able to wear shorts again without looking like a sharpai. We who have, or are going to have PS, each have our reasons for deciding that. You'll have to make that decision when the time comes. If you don't want it, don't. You may need to learn how best to take care of any odors or rashes though. But that's do-able. Sherri

i heard,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,seems females that got stretch marks when they were pregnant are more likely to need plastics..and i was doing pretty well even at my age with the skin, but then i quit exercising......things shifted and moved about....lost any and all firmess in my breast or so i feel but then my gyn says she has seen women who have not lost 100 pounds and their are worse than mine....so heck if i know..my chin is what bugs me more than anything.... we lose at such a fast rate it would be impossible not to have some hanging skin some place i would think,..
