DAN BACK HOME
They let me out a day early since I am well with my PT, etc.
Your prayers were answered for me. No problems with the surgery. Believe it or not the rehab guy had me up about 4 hours after surgery and walking, with a walker of course. I feel pretty good. Really good pain medication. Gave me enough for 14 days, so we will see what happens after than. Even the 50 mile trip back home went fine also. I really do know that prayers do get answered. Thanks Be To God.
Linda, the rehab did not create much pain but they had me dopped up real good before I went to the rehab center. Starting Monday they will have someone come to our house to do the rehab for the next two weeks.
Again thanks for your prayers and notes of encourgement for both Ann and I.

Dan,
I am so happy you are doing so well!! MY PT wanted to bend it to 90 degrees the vewry next day!! and the morphen pump wasnt working and then the vicadan pills werent absorbing in my tummy.. so when I got home with LIQUID Loratab.. I started getting some relief..
I actually did great until they made me bend it.
I am just sooo glad you are having a good expereince.. maybe I will go there when it is time to get my right one done!!!
Linda
Dan,
So glad you're home and everything went so well!
What kind of pain meds were you on? Something besides Loratab?? I took Loratab the other night because my foot was giving me fits. It helped it, but gave me insomnia. Before I have my surgery on it, I'd like to have an idea of what else may help the pain but hopefully allow me to sleep at night. I'm leary of having absorption issues with pills like Linda did...and morphine drip never did do me any good.
Don't over-do it..& look forward to seeing your posts on here.
