Thursday!!
Good morning everyone!
I hope you all had a great evening. I felt so good yesterday. I walked about 4.8 miles (got my 10K steps!!). But this morning, I am paying for it. Foot is so sore! I'm at work...but don't know that I'm going to last the full day. If it gets much worse, it'll be home to some loratab!
I think it's so exciting that there are so many newbies lately on here! New post-ops and others just starting their journey! If any of you ever have a question or concern, give us a shout on here. I'm sure you'll get some responses from those further out. I think between everyone one here, someone has crossed most (or at least, many) issues that may pop up. We'll also tell you flat out if it's a call your surgeon NOW thing.
Well, as much as I'd rather be home with my foot propped up, time to get to work. You all have a great day!

Good Morning Indiana,
Hope everyone is doing fine, and has their duck shoes out, boy are ya gonna need em. LOL!
Mrs. Dan (Ann) glad to hear Dan was ready to come home already, better that he stays I am sure, but at least he is eager, tell him hello, and that I am thinking about him, k?
Well I didn't get to have my injection procedure as planned on Tuesday, they called that a.m. and postponed it till next Tuesday, so here I sit still in pain and on those nasty prednizone and darvocets, that seem to be candy for me, boy I sure do hope this injection works but I am skeptical.
Sherri, hope you are feeling better, getting in those 10,000 steps I know is important to you, but OUCH!!
Linda, glad to hear you are back at work, hope evrything goes well with you. You and Dan will be dancing buddies at the next meet and greet, HAHA1
Nice to see/hear from all of the newbies, again I am on here everyday, but still tend to lurk more than post, but I am aware and am here for anyone who might need some extra encouragement or have questions and concerns, I am not an OLDIE yet am I??? It doesn't seem like it has been almost 6 months yet, but boy it has and I feel better, except for my current situation, which has nothing to do with my RNY!!
Have a great day and TRY to stay dry!!!

Hey sweetie!
I left work early and thanked God for Loratab...then watched Brokeback Mountain (I didn't think it was as good as I heard it was). I'll be following up dinner with a shot of Loratab for dessert I think. Maybe it'll be better tomorrow. It's been like a toothache today...even when I have it propped up.

Good Afternoon everyone! I'm on my lunch break! Looking forward to next week, it will be my 8 weeks out and I take a new picture, weight, and measurements. I really don't feel like I've lost that much, but I am fitting into smaller clothes, so I must be. Need to get back to exercises regularly. I've been trying to get myself up early in the morning to treadmill it before going to work, but that's just not working. So I gotta squeeze it in at lunch or after work. I think that I'd feel better if I did it in the morning, but it's just soooo hard to get out of bed. I'd rather sleep! heheheheheehhee
Looking forward to mother's day. This is my first actual one as a mother. Gonna go get a pedicure this Saturday and then work on my class material so I can renew my counseling license. Other than that, just waiting on school to get out. I think that I'm worse than the kids as far as counting down the days. hehehehehehe
Well, gonna finish the next few bites of my lunch. Decided that I like the salads at McDonald's, plus they last for a few meals!

Mel,
I was doing the first thing in the morning on the treadmill thing for awhile but I found I am more inclined to do it at lunch and after work in the evenings. The halls & sidewalks at work and the sidewalks at home are just so much more interesting than the treadmill! Now, I still set the alarm for 4, but I roll out of the waterbed, stop at the potty, then roll onto the tanning bed. I consider it my 20 minutes of sweet warmth to start my day with! LOL! It works for me

Good Evening!! I just got back from training. This week has been a very training oriented week!! 3 days! I am a little ahead of this class in skill level so I was done way before everyone else. Oh well, now I am home and get put on my jamies and clean my kitchen *joy*
Sherri and everyone else, I can not thank all of you enough for your help in answering my questions and concerns. If it wasn't for this group, I would more than likely still be debating surgery and not going for it! Thanks again for everything!!
Well off to tackle the kitchen! Have a good night everyone!
Sam
