Wed Morning
Well, I had an experience yesterday to tell you all about. Sam pay close attn.
I called my insurance company just about 5 pm to make sure they received my package that I so expensively sent overnight FedEX. Well they didnt have it. After some looking into it further my dr had addressed it to the claims office which was the address on my Anthem insurance card in Louisville, KY. However, they had a special precert office in Indy. So the guy tells me it takes a week to get if from that office to him in interoffice mail. By now Im thinking OHHH Crap!!!!! Why did I overnight it then.lol
So after much disappointment he finally tells me there is also a fax number that I could have sent it to if I wanted speedy service. So tonight I faxed 60 pages to the Indy office. So Im hoping between the two copies they now have. I might find out something by next Fri at the latest. He said it would take at least a week maybe longer.
OHHH WELL, Just more stress
Hubby flies home today from LAX (yipee)

when i over nighted and certified and on and on my appeal and knew they had gotten it...they still told me they did not have it...they went on to explain to me that the post office signs for these not the company....now what kind of crap is that i have no idea....then it sits on someones desk, then another desk....then they gotta have an office party...lol...then who ever has the paper work takes a vacation....ooh i am being funny...but telling the truth...
have fun
Ohhh did you happen to get the right office? I got a letter from Anthem with the address to send to on it so I want to compare.
Other question - Was CVS willing to give you copies of your old prescriptions? I want to get a copy of mine but I don't know who exactly I call and what to ask for exactly. Any help would be appreciated!!
Sam
Sam, Guess where I messed up was Anthem didnt send me anything. As for CVS I called the store and they gave me an 800 number to call and they faxed the records to my local CVS and when I went in it cost me 6 dollars but it was worth it to get the old records. Then about a week later I got 2 more copies of the exact things in the mail.

I had Anthem...and was through Dr. Gupta (Dr. Caccuci/Dr. Jones/Dr. Gupta...same difference when it come to this part of the process). Dr. Gupta's letter was sent to me. Their psyche's letter was sent to me. Anthem sent me a envelope with the form that Dr. Gupta was to fill out & with the address I was to send my stuff too...which I did. I sent my packet (heck, 3" manuscript!!) registered mail. Was approved in less than 2 weeks.
