New Whey & Isopure Drinks
Troy, I havent been able to find the profect (the tubes) anywhere in town. Ive called all the gyms here. I bought mine at UBID.com. They were a little cheaper than ordering them from the profect.com site. But they actually come from the same place as far as shipping goes. It took 6 days for shipping.

Look to the bottom left of this board and there is a product called Profect. I wonder if that is anything like the other test tubes I have seen on bariatriceating.com. I think I read on another post that when you buy the Isopure make sure you don't see things floating in it because that is what leaves the film in your mouth. I'm not quite sure what that means but when I try one of them I will look for the floaties.

I was okay with Isopure before surgery but can't stomach them now. GNC chocolate whey is so-so but I drink it everyday anyway. I've gotten Nectar off the Internet. I tried Roadside Lemonade and it was okay. Took a little getting used to. I'm working on a jug of Nectar Crystal Sky now. It tastes like punch but it's blue! The color kind of puts me off. For me, protein intake is tough. I'm slated for 100-120 grams per day. Sometimes I get close - other times I just can't stomach any more protein. St Francis Weight Loss Center sells Protidiet which tastes good. Grape and fruit punch are great the orange is so-so at best. It's 15g per pack and kind of expensive. 7 pack box for $9. I would need to drink all 7 packs per day for my protein intake.

Rob,
I have a good supply of Strive pina colada, cuppachino, and some Achiev One (cuppachino, mocha...and tomorrow, I'll also have hazelnut and vanilla). I work on the southside near Raymond & Harding. If you'd like to sample these, I'd be willing to share some. Drop me an email and let me know if you would, which ones, and when/where would be good for me to give you them. I usually work 6-3 and lunch ~11-12-ish...M-F. Protein intake is so important. As you get further out, BariatricEating has some Pork Rinds that are pretty good and 23 g of protein per serving (if you eat a little bit of cheese, or other protein to complete the protein chemical chain in the rinds).
