Oh No! So sorry to hear! :-( ...sad to hear.
Not sure what I'll be doing for today, I'm thinking of going to Subway to get a sub. Tonight at Northwestern Memorial Hospital is the WLS Support Group at 6:15 p.m. (1 hour group). I haven't been to one since last year, only went to one or two last year since I had a busy year with surgeries (3 of them) and two E.R. visits. Besides Subway & going to the WLS Support Group (post-op group) I'm not sure what to do, I guess I'll just play it by ear for today.
Thank you, I did enjoy the gym yesterday and had a great workout for 1 hour & 39 minutes, now I'm sore in my arms and some in my legs.
Have a great day everyone.

Hi All,
Well, my summer vacation is starting a lot earlier then I expected. We got lay off notices on Tuesday. My last day is is 3/31/15.And, the program will be down in 2 weeks. That means anyone who had just applied, may or may not get help. It doesn't sound good for next year either. Oh well, It may be time to retire for sure. I will not look for another job.
Today, I want to start on the third bedroom, Hubert's train room. There is so much crap in it, you can't even get to the trains. I keep the door closed so I can't see the mess, but I know it is there.
The grass is greening up, and the trees are budding out. It is looking like spring, now if it would warm up.
Christine, I hope you are getting over the bug.
Carla, are you home yet?
Sharon, enjoy work today.
Crystal, your trip is fast approaching.
Jason, enjoy the gym.
Nancy, where are you.
Dawn, when do you start working?
Hugs,
Wow! You bet me there on the show by 0.2 inch (5.8 inches), most of it gone. Sorry to hear about your wipers. Oh wow! a lot is going on for you. It'll get better for you.
Cool on the skinny buffalo (where the buffalo roam) wings. I wonder if the skinny buffalo had a Red Bull so it can have wings.
Yup, had a great workout on my first day back at the YMCA in two years. I did Chest Press: 16 minutes, Triceps Press: 14 minutes, Arm Extension: 29 minutes, NuStep 40 minutes/2.10 miles/8+ laps. Now I'm somewhat hurting now, but I dread tomorrow morning when I wake-up.
Have a great everyone.

What a day I had Monday after I posted. We got 6 inches of snow and my wipers died while I was driving. So, I had to go into a Huffy in Lockport since I was right there. Well they fixed my wipers and checked to see why my engine light was on. 2 hours later I was informed my turbo was going and it was going to cost $7k to fix my car. I wanted to sob. They wanted me to sign some papers and start the work. I'm like I cannot do this w/o discussing with my husband. So the next day at work I saw my regular mechanic and he said bring it in. It was the catalytic converter and will cost $350 to fix. I was never so happy to hear $350 in my entire life.
Today i volunteered and made some skinny buffalo wings for dinner. I work again tomorrow. Yay!!!!!
jason, awesome about the YMCA. I pay just a bit more than that for my membership. So worth it.
hugs,
Sharon
Hi everyone & good afternoon,
I hope so too Sharon.
Long day for me today, I went to the library to retune the books I barrowed and took out 3 dvds and 4 books. Also I went up to the YMCA to find out the status of my YMCA gym membership and the scholarship that I signed up for a little while back. I got good news on that, I went to the YMCA I got approved for the gym membership and the their scholarship. The YMCA scholarship will help me pay 35% of my gym membership, I only have to pay 65% of the gym membership. Without the YMCA scholarship I would pay $50.00 a month, since I got approved for the scholarship I only pay $32.50. If you do qualify for their scholarship it goes by your annual income. It'll feel weird when I go back to the YMCA gym for the first in about 2.5 years. Since I hard to drop the gym membership in 2013 (give or take) due to my health and my joint replacements surgeries that I went through in 2013 & 2014. I still have one more joint that needs to be replaced and that's my left hip.
I wanted to share my good news with my with you all.
Have a great evening everyone.

I was not a happy camper this morning either. I am so ready for warm and sun.
I am making chili tonight for supper. Hopefully this will be the last time this winter.
I was busy at work today. That means I will be empty tomorrow. That's ok. More time to FB.
Otherwise, same old, same old.
Hugs,
Hello everyone
I had a busy weekend. I think when we finally relaxed Sunday evening we were pooped and both and ended up falling asleep for an hour or so.
I think most of you saw I bought a car Saturday. I was going to buy something a little smaller but Greg talked me into something a bit bigger. I do really like the car. And it has 4 wheel drive....so I hope to see some difference today when I drive home in the snow. It has traction control too. Basically it has everything. I can't think of anything it doesn't have...LOL. And Greg really is a great negotiator. He got them to agree to the price I wanted and throw in extras too!!!
And Greg feels better now that I have a bigger car. He says in a bigger car people are more likely to "see" me and if they do hit me...I am more likely to "win"....LOL.
Today I am making a pork roast. I am feeling ambitious.
Well I better get back to work...drive safe.
Jason,
I was in pain all the time from arthritis and this weird hump in my upper back that I inherited from my mom. As I got older I seemed to have more and more pain and it was hard to sleep at night, because everytiume I turned over in bed I'd wake up from the terrible pain and stiffness. Sleep disturbances/depravation created depression and anxiety. I decided to start moving in the pool. It truly changed my life. I have no more pain. There are so many at the pool that just walk in the water to keep pain at bay. On a side note, if I skip the pool for a few days the pain starts again.
I also self massage painful areas with coconut oil with a few frops of frankincense essential oils. Both can be purchased at Whole Foods.
Hugs dear one,
Sharon
