Hi Everyone!

It is a beautiful day!  I am so glad the storms missed us on Thursday.  They were pretty close.  They reminded me of the tornado that devastated the area 12 years ago.  We had some pretty high winds though.  We lost the roof to the catio and the cats did not know what to think.  They were hiding in the house all befuddled yesterday morning, scared to go outside.  

Rick was able to fix it yesterday so they are back to their normal going in and out.  Gizzy did a jail break today as we were bringing in a treat shipment today.  He went out and got found by a cute girl.  He is a BIG flirt!  He thought that was fun and tried to break jail a second time.  Darned cat!

Gage just surprised us as he was traveling back to school on the way back from a wedding.  That is a nice surprise.  He has a month left of school then goes to Japan for 3 weeks with a school program  all expenses paid.  He will be doing research for a company.  

I had my interview with the Emerge company to work from home.  I was hired and start with them on August 10th.  I will have a 3 week break between the end of my current job and the start of the new one.  It will be nice to have a break.  I will be doing basically the same work.  It is nice to know that something else is in place when I finish my current job.  

Not much more going on.  Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Wow, the grass is like a green carpet everywhere. That rain made everything pop. Spring is such a gift after all the cold we had. My lilies are coming in everywhere. I need to get out there and clean up a bit. 

G wants to go car shopping this am. I'm not thrilled. Not my idea of a fun way to spend his day off. 

I'd to throw something on the grill. 

Not much else happening. Which is a good thing :)

Hello everyone

I am so happy it's Friday.  Especially since I don't feel good after all that rain.  It just aggravates my allergies.  I think my right ear is messed up.  I can't hear out of it really well.  Greg thinks I have an infection but it doesn't hurt enough.  It just keeps popping.  And my head hurts and I feel very groggy.  Blah.  I hate the way the weather affects me so much.  I have a doctors appointment next week.  I don't know maybe I should start going to an allergy doctor???  Do they really help that much more than a GP?

Today I have to go sign paperwork at the bank for that fraud on my account.  I had to wait till it posted to my account.  It was in pending status.  It finally cleared so I can go have it credited to my account now. 

Last night all I made for dinner was grilled cheese and salads and it was a nice simple dinner.  Sometimes it's nice just to have a simple dinner.  And we have been running around all week doing stuff for the house.  Now we just sit and wait.  Ugh.  Fun.

My dream is to work in the garden department someday. Dreamin'.......

I ache all over when I get home from my very physical job too. The top of my feel hurt so bad (high arches). I grab a glop of solid coconut oil and add a couple drops of frankincense and rub on the tops of my feet and the pain disappears so I can fall asleep. i now rub it everywhere so i can move the next day. Christine, it sounds like you will have a great weekend. I wanted to see Carousel, but can't quite see spending what they want for tickets at this time. Enjoy yourself.

I am heading to Bloomington, to spend the night with Morgan. Then tomorrow, meeting my sister for the day.

Strong storms during the night. We lost power for a bit. It is looking like rain again.
