Last night we met friends driving home to Bellville, for supper. It was so nice since we hadn't seen them in over a year.

Today, just messing around. No plans. But, I will probably do something outside. It is way to nice to stay in.

Lisa, I, too, am getting lots of color from the sun in my yard. The sun is so strong.

Yesterday I watched my grand babies and then went to the library. Last night we went out to dinner and had a good time. I am becoming a sushi aficionado.

Crystal, sorry about your cheese mishap. Ice it, if you havent already. BTW, you will be lovely in your gown on your wedding day.

Dawn, I am so relieved you are ok. First Crystal, now you. Spring drivers are wild.......

Today we have a wake. A young beautiful girl. They dont know if it was a suicidal or accidental overdose. This girl was a vivacious lady with a large family who adored her. It's going to be particularly sad. She was 25.

I am looking for walking shorts or as they called them in my day; bermudas. Cant find just plain old shorts that come down to the knee. I have sent so many back from the catalogs. Now, just need to store hop. Ugh. Due to my shopping addiction, I prefer to shop with someone. G hates shopping and my pals all want to shop, shop, shop.........who knew this could be such a big deal?

Wow, picked up my new glasses yesterday - I can finally see better plus I love the new frames - so not like me - I went for a big splash of color for the bifocal frames called Tahiti Blue Slate. It has blue, purple, red and orange on the frame ear pieces. I priced out multifocal astigmatism contacts and I guess I will wait on those as they are over $300 per set for one box each eye.

We are going to see Snow White at our local theater this afternoon and then do not know what else.

I had a terrible surprise Wednesday.....I was in a car crash!  I haven't heard, yet, but I am pretty sure my car is totaled.  I was crossing one of the busiest intersections in Rockford (State and Perryville) at noon.  Minding my own business, running errands.  I was on State, crossing Perryville heading to Gordman's when a little old lady was going the opposite direction and was turning south on Perryville.  Apparently, she never saw me.  I thought for sure she was going to T-Bone me right in the door, but at the last second, when I realized that she was not going to stop, I tried to get out of her way.  She still hit me, but in the front fender instead.  The impact on the driver's side of my car threw me into a truck that was waiting at the light going north on Perryville.  I smashed into him pretty good.  So, I was the cheese in a crash sandwich.  I have SO many things to be grateful for it is really unreal.  I had/have a concussion and lots of sore muscles, whiplash, a wrenched knee and o contusion in my right shoulder.  All in all......it could have been much worse.  The concussion was the scariest, as I kept going in and out of alertness.  Now, I am still a little sore, but I get tired a bit easily and only get, "foggy" occasionally.

Now, I get to go through the insurance stuff and am sad that I will probably not have a car as nice as the wrecked one.  But, we will see.  So far, all has been better than expected, so maybe that will also.

I am off of wor****il Monday and am supposed to be resting.  I am trying.  I drove into Freeport for a meeting today and am ready for a nap.  So....I will head down, pop in a movie and hit the recliner.

I can't believe that I am already seeing tan lines on my arms and chest. I am not trying to tan, but I am doing some outside work every day.

I might join friends for lunch today, then we are going out tonight. Otherwise, just hanging out and working on a couple of things.
