Happy Hump Day,
Yhat wind yesterday was brutal. I normally cannot hear it in the house, but I did yesterday. It is windy again today.
We are going out tonight for dinner.
Saturday, I am going to Fox Valley Mall to help Monica help Morgan to get a prom dress. We have already looked at Carson's and Macy's, but she wants more of a ball gown style then what they are showing.
I need to get back to the garden. I hate being in the house all day.
On Saturday, I want to stop at Our Home on Rt. 59. I want to look for a garden light house. If I can't find one there, I will order it off the internet.

Man, that wind is nasty. I was waiting to cross Irving Park Rd on my way home yesterday and almost got knocked off of my feet. I had to walk my bike a good part of the way home. I opted to walk to work today.
My glasses was the fault of the girl fitting me not clarifying that the prescription was to be worn with contacts. The problem is being fixed. In the meantime I am trying monovision contacts again. I tried them about 15 years ago and I could not get used to them. The brain needs to get used to having a different vision in either eyes. I do not think that there were contacts for astigmatism back then. So far so good. You loose a little in the clarity but it is priceless not to take on and off bifocals or computer glasses.
Not much in my world, what is happening with the rest of you?

Well, the lady that did my ordering for the computer glasses did not order the script for the glasses to be used over my contacts. Being replaced for free.

Hello everyone
Well I am back to trying to lose weight. I want to lose about 10-15 lbs. I have been merely maintaining. I have been slacking with exercise. Well I joined a gym now that I know where I am going to live. I didn't want to join a gym and then find out it's now no where near my new house. Well I joined Charter Fitness and to my convenience there is one near where I live now and where I will be living soon. So I can partake in the gym now by my place...and then when I move go to the one by the house. It worked out perfectly.
We have a bulk of our wedding/honeymoon paid for now. Do you know that his dad as an engagement gift is going to pay for our airline tickets!!! Can you believe that. His dad is very generous. He owns his own business and is very active for 77 years old. His mom is great too. They will be there for the wedding along with Amanda and Charles. It will be perfect.

Lisa, For Eyes is always very consistent in the quality of work. I think my eyes were screwed up from being on the antibiotic because she said that my vision had improved. I probably did not give the correct feedback when saying which screen was clearer/worse.

I got nothing done yesterday except changing the sheets and remaking the bed, plus 2 loads of laundry.
I want to make cookies this morning, and clean the spare bedroom.
The robins are building their nest. It is fun watching them.
Christine, it probably isn't your eyes, but the place where they put the the bi-focals, or they put the lens into the wrong place. Let us know.

Need to go back to the eye doc for a re-exam. I cannot see out of my new specs - the 'puter specs are the worst. Never happened to me before.
Well, I have the above at 430ish and then I need to go with Dave to the Am Legion for his meeting tonight.

Sharon, all I do is season it with old bay, and broil it until it flakes. Then serve it with lemom slices and coattail sauce.

Hi Peeps,
G and I had a lovely weekend together. Yesterday after church we putzed around and just enjoyed each other's company. Watched the BlackHawks at Hooters over wings. Then G wanted to go to Tiger Direct in Orland because they are closing the store. i went to Steinmart and we met in the middle. It was nice to get into our bed early and watch TV and fall asleep early. Rain does that to me.
Regular Monday, except this doctor has been hounding me to come into his office in Bridgeview to interview. We have talked on the phone numerous times and again, he is offering no real money but expects lots of hours. I keep telling him he is wasting our time, but on his Saturday morning call, he talked me into just coming into talk to him.......so I agreed to meet him at noon today. G thinks it's a waste of time but I would love another part-time job. 2 part times would be great for me. I'll never get one if I dont interview.

Good Morning on this gray day. We had a surprised visit with Monica and family yesterday afternoon. Decided to gp for Chinese so I didn't have to cook yesterday. We will have the steak and salmon for dinner tonight instead. I think I will be staying in today.
