Hello everyone
I am not doing anything special today...work, working out, groceries. That's it. I am making some sorta salad for dinner. I think once we are at house we will be grilling out more. I can't wait.
So far I am doing good working out again and keeping track of my eating. I can tell you that if you add up the calories I eat for breakfast and lunch...by the time I am done working out...I am at zero calories for the day or less. So it's nice starting dinner with a "clean slate". I cut out my evening snacking. Greg has a habit of snacking at night and I started to join him. I stopped it. No more!!!

Can you believe? This is the last week of
April.
I am planning on going outside this afternoon and work on my new garden. Also to paint the lighthouse I made a couple of years ago.
My dinner is semi-made for dinner tonight. Twice baked potates, meatloaf ( in frig) a veggie and 37 cal. brownies for later.
I am heading to the back of the house to finish the laundry I didn't do yesterday, make the bed ect.
What are your plans for today?

It is a great day already,
I went out this morning to Walmart, got a lot of little things I needed. We also booked a cruise for next June. I am excited already.
Sharon, I hope you are feeling better. My Monica is home today, she got sick on her way to work, and came home.
I am going to do some stuff outside this afternoon.

Hello everyone
We had a nice weekend. We ended up staying in Saturday because of the dreary weather. But we were out and about yesterday and spent entirely too much money. It seemed that way anyway. After buying a washer and dryer at Sears and all new bath décor for the master bath at Bed Bath & Beyond. We were out close to $1500. So we called it a day and came home and grilled some burgers on the grill.
We have a lawn mower to buy but will wait till we move. Because we have a host of lawn and garden items to buy. And then we will eventually need to buy a new family room sectional. The one he has will have to go. It's not very comfortable at all and the leather is cracking. My furniture will go in the living room. Really other than some odds and ends and the sectional....we are set. Next year we will worry about patio furniture, I think. Too much all at once. And I want a really nice set, so I would rather wait and get a nice set than get a cheaper one now. Or maybe a good after season sale this Fall...we shall see.
We have to start packing this weekend. It's fast approaching.

'Morning! It looks like we have the beginnings of some nicer weather. I will take the sun and cooler temps any day of the week.
Not much in my world. Eye doc appt for me tomorrow to check how the monovision is working for me. I love them so far. There is a small loss of clarity. I have changed things like bringing my monitor closer, propping my paperwork on an easel. I love not having to wear glasses.

Sick, sick, sick. Got home from work Thursday and I have been in bed ever since. Felt like the flu with bad body aches, now terrible chest congestion and cough. Today I finally got up at 4p to find some food. Back to bed for me.

It is such a pretty day. Yesterday, when I went to meet Monica and Morgan, it was raining so hard, I wasn't sure if I wanted to drive to Dwight to meet them.We had a great day, and she got her dress, shoes and accessories.
This afternoon we are going to meet them at Starved Rock Lodge, to talk about our cruise next summer to Nova Scotia.
So, my dinner for today, is being put on hold. Ribs, Cowboy potatoes, and veggies, until tomorrow.

Happy Wet Saturday.
I guess it is to be an April shower kinda day. That's ok, I will be spending most of it with Monica and Morgan looking for her prom dress.
Yesterday, I got a lot of little things done. Nothing exciting, just stuff that needed to be done. I did find a couple of bushes I am interested in for where Hubert pulled out some last spring, when he was doing the new basement entry. I did not buy any yet, so I can look around and see if I can find them cheaper.
