Good Morning, it is July 1. Almost time for the nations birthday party.Anyone have anything special going on this weekend? The kids are coming down on Friday. Hubert is off that day, he is working the weekend. We are goingg out for a late lunch at Gunsmoke Grill. It is about 20 miles from here. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well as an indoor area.

I love my shower chair. It gets used anytime I need a stool inside or out. It is the perfect height. We bought it years ago, when I really needed it in the bath.

Chris, a lot of drug stores rent wheel chairs. Very low cost. Or, try your local Lion's Club/

Have a great hump day,

Hugs,

Lisa

The little smiley is me today. Even though I was in bed by 9:30, slept good last night I am still tired. It is the combo of the last month + of what is going on.

After I faxed the MRI yesterday his ortho doc made room in his schedule to see Dave next Thurs. I am grateful that we have a shower chair. I just need to see if someone from work has one of those light weight wheel chairs that can be loaned to us.

Off to the wizard of work shortly. Maybe the bosses will take pity on me and send me home.

It is good that you now know what was happening with Dave. It's no fun to be in the hospital for the person or his or her family.

Hubert just built a bench for me.It replaces one that we have had for more then 20 years, and it was old when we got it. I have painted the underside and sides, so when it dries, I will paint the outside and top. I may do something on the top, not sure yet.

Off to make lunch and pay some bills.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello everyone

I am going to Macy's after work today to get, what I am calling "my under stuff" for the dress.  You know the strapless bra and control top panties.  It's just easier to call it "under stuff", because it goes under the dress...LOL.  Then I am done, done, done.  I am also stopping by the makeup counter and getting some of my makeup.  That is about it.  I will stop off at Jewel on the way home and pick up a rotisserie chicken for dinner.

I am excited to try on my dress after I get everything.  I hope it fits.  Ugh...it better fit.

That's about it for my day.

Christine-  did they find out what is going on with Dave or did they just order Iron?

Well I have lots to do at work...better get back.  Have a good day

The little smiley is what Dave looks like. Not much sleep in the hospital. Hopefully home this morning. The MRI report needed to be read and reported to his primary. He is coming around with the IV and the knee is getting better. His doc messaged me yesterday evening and said he will be put on iron needs to stay out of the sun.

I am off to ABMC in a while. His doc is an early bird with rounds and will most likely be there at a little after 7.

Sun, dehydration are the long and short. Him recovering from the internal bleed is the contributor to the syncope episode. OTC iron has been ordered. He has sufficient iron but they are going to help give him some more of it with a 60 day intake of the oral iron. One cannot store iron - this will give him a little boost. He was not in the sun that long but the combined standing in one place contributed to the loss of blood flow to the brain. When a person locks up their legs for a while in one place the leg muscles do not contract to return blood through the circulatory system. He does not have any type of an internal bleed.

Hello everyone

I am so glad this is a 4 day work week.  Although, it's up in the air as to what the weather will be like.  It keeps changing.

Tonight, we may be going to the movies to see Jurasic World.

We have an opportunity to buy a couple things used and save some money.  Like a snow blower and generator.  That would be nice.  We will see if Greg thinks it's worth it.

Well time to get back to work...have a sunny afternoon

Hi Lisa and Friends,

Yep, I think we too wound up getting our front bushes pulled out with a truck as well.........come to think of it.

Yesterday we took the grandkids to another park....we started doing this recently on Sundays after church. Apparently Bolingbrook has a ton of playgrounds made up of different themes. We hope to visit all of them before winter. Yesterday the parks theme was planets in French......weird but cool.

Lisa, I saw a recipe for pork cutlets on Cooks Country and also plan on those tonight. I will be grilling them.

Well folks enjoy your day!

Hugs,

Sharon

Crystal, I once dug out bulbs that had such deep roots, it took over an hour. I think most bushes don't root very deep, evergreens would be different. We pulled out evergreen bushes years ago and it took hours. Good luck!
