Good Morning to All.
Wednesday Morning my daughter Annette and I drove down to St Louis.She had to see a customer of hers on Thursday morning. It was a nice trip. While she was at the customer"s. I shopped, and I shopped.
Yesterday, I had an eye doctor appointment. Sight in my right eye is worst, a growth on the left eye, has me seeing a specialist in the next couple of weeks. So, this will be an interesting fall for us.
Hope we don't have a lot of rain today to dampen Crystal 's party.

sime people will nitpick at everything!!! Tell her to give u a break!!! As for me I just got out of the hospital!!! I had an endoscopy on Wednesday and It didn't go to well! I got so nauseated afterward I stayed two days!!! My dr lady had a nice party in there!!! It seems my stomach is enlarged and needs to be enlarged. My sister in Skokie wants me to go to her dr in Evanston to do the revision. Has anyone been to dr woodham or woody as they call him?
They told me I need this revision cause of the Addisins cause of the nutrition. I can't be having the nausea all the time with the dumping. And no carbs cause that causes sugar.
So I'm looking at two Drs. One in Chicago and one in Tampa. And possibly one in St Augustine. We shall see.
If I choose the dr in the Chicago area I'll be in Chicago for at least sux weeks!!!

Hello everyone
I know the feeling. After this weekend I have to get back to my normal eating. I feel Like I have been on a month long eating binge. Between the honeymoon (parties that go with the wedding), me being sick and now this party coming up. Ugh...I tell you. Greg and I were just saying after this week we are going to be twiddling our thumbs for the first time in months and months.
Amanda will be at the party this weekend. She was kind of the whole reason we scheduled it for the 29th, because she would be able to attend. So we pick her up from O'Hare Saturday morning. Otherwise, I think we would have waited till the end of next month to have this party. Give ourselves a little breather.
So it seems this lady here at work is annoyed by my nose blowing. Yes, it is excessive. Ever since I got sick I can't seem to get my nose under control. I feel fine I'm not sick anymore. But my nose it constantly getting stuffed. I would get up and go to the bathroom but I would not get any work done if I walked to bathroom every 5-10 minutes. I can't help it. It's not like it's something you can do it quietly . I have to blow. And this is not a quiet office...I work for a construction company. She said something to me and I said...Look I wish I were the that only had to listen to it. You think I'm enjoying myself. She shut up.
Oh well some people will let little things bother them. I have learned over year of working in the office with lots of people. You have to learn to live other people's stuff...or be unhappy.

It looks like it will be a beautiful day, I hope everyone gets to get out and enjoy it.
I am at work, starting my day. Things are good. The little kids are so cute. It is great not to have to take them home!
I am trying to get back to basics in my eating and exercise. I have gained back about 40 lbs. and never lost the last 40 lbs that I had hoped. If I can just lose the regained 40, I will be happy. All the aches and pains that come along with carrying this extra weight are getting harder and harder to bear. When I wake up in the morning, I can barely move. I have let the garbage back into my diet and it is time to clean it up. I hope to check in here more to get the support that I need.
Crystal, you sound like you have everything covered for Saturday. Relax. You are very lucky to have a man that helps. Todd really does very little when it comes to anything like this. I do what I can and that is good enough. People would come if you served punch and cake.
I'd better get to work.

Listen to your husband and chill! It sounds like you have everything covered well. The food sounds fantastic and you even have non-carbonated beverages. People are not coming for the food, they are coming to celebrate your new life! BREATHE!

Hello everyone
Ye I need to work on serenity also...at least until Saturday. I am a planner and it's hard when the weather is so up in the air. It's driving my nuts. And of course I have a million things going through my head on what needs to be done. Greg is taking Friday off to handle the big things. Thank god he is not one of those lazy men. I would be pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get this together and work.
Now my next thing is do I have enough food or too much food. We are going to have burgers and chicken kabobs and this eggplant dish (his mom make this) Brenda is making Puerto Rican food, we are going to have the normal assortment of chips, veggie plate and dip. Watermelon, potato salad and pasta salad. And a desert table....the desert table will be a complete surprise to me. Greg's best friends are doing the dessert table as a gift to us. Now does that sound like enough??? I was thinking of adding something like chili or mosticoli....or would that be too much??? I don't want tons of left overs but I don't want to run out. I also wanted to have a mixture of healthy and downright heart attack food (LOL). I had to have a vegetarian options too.
For drinks I will have iced tea, water, coke, diet coke, sprite, and limited amounts of alcoholic beverages.
Greg says I stress too much and just need to sit back and relax.
I will try....
The fun part for me will be decorating. I will enjoy that....as long as I get to and it doesn't rain.

I am up and at 'em. Work is still good, but I have been a bit irritable lately. I am working on that. I need to get back to serenity.
Things here in the northwest corner are doing pretty good. No rain here, seems like in forever. We finally got a bit of rain last week, but not enough to keep the plants alive. I don't know if they are talking rain here "maybe" Friday and Saturday. It seems that I live in a weather bubble and it always seems to go around us.
I spent last Saturday cleaning windows and my front porch. It was a long, physical job, but everything looks nice now.
Lisa, travel safely today. Where is Sharon and Nancy? I hope they are well. I know I have been absent for a while.

Hello everyone
The weather is literally going back and forth for Saturday. When I went to bed last night it was 10% chance of rain (down from 50% that morning) and I woke up it is now 60% chance. What the heck. We have a back up plan for rain. But it would be so nice if we have good weather. We have this nice patio and back yard. The only day this week it will rain and it has to be that day.
It's driving me mad....and because of that it's driving Greg mad too....GRRR!!!! Amanda says I should make it a pool party without the pool and have everyone show up in swim suits....LOL!!!!
Today I am making Salisbury steak for dinner. I have stuff I want to get done around the house. A few errands to run after work. That's about it.
Gotta get back to work.

Nothing much happening here. I am going to St. Louis in the morning with my daughter Annette. She has a meeting there, and she asked me to go with her.
I want to get outside today, the weather is great, so I want to do some weeding and stuff. We will see if I do or not.
