Hello everyone
It's going to be down right chilly Friday and Saturday. It will be sweater weather.
I'm bored. I wish I was at home. There are so many thing I'd rather be doing right now...LOL.
That reminds me I have to get new glasses too. I haven't went in for an eye exam in two years. It's time. I only need my glasses for reading but I think that may change soon. When it does I am going to try contacts.

Hi All.
I went to complain about my new glasses yesterday. I think the girl who waited on me thought that here was another older lady who didn't know what she was talking about. It turned out that they had the wrong scrip in them. So, now I am waiting for new lens to be sent to the store, so I can take another trip to LaSalle.
By the way, the rain coming home was so bad I couldn't couldn't see the car in front of me.
Just doing odds and ends today.

Hello everyone
I had a nice weekend too. We dropped Amanda off at the airport Sunday. Yesterday I stayed home and cleaned and relaxed. I didn't have to cook we had left overs from dinner the night before.
Today I come to work and I had a ton to do. So I have been busy. Which is good. Makes the day go by faster.
It's rainy out today. I guess we needed it. But I still hate it.
Well back to work. Stay dry

I am back at work and listening to the sounds of children in the morning. I had a nice weekend. Sunday, I got up early, went into Freeport for a meeting, an Art Show (where I participated in the drum circle) then decided to have dinner with a friend in the city. Yesterday was the Lawn Tractor Pulls, but only 3 tractors showed up. My neighbor basically took over the hosting of the party. I wish she would have consulted me because I was planning on feeding all the people and had a ton of food.
This coming weekend, I am going on a women's retreat in MN. Sounds interesting.

Good Morning,
I am heading back over to LaSalle this morning. My new glasses are terrible. More then 30 feet in front of me, everything is blurred. Same if I am trying to read a newspaper or mag. Needless to say, I am not happy with them.

Good Morning on this unofficial last day of summer. "Tucker Beach" closed last night and was put to bed for the next 9 months or so. We will be cleaning up the yard within the next month.
Laundry is washed and put away, dinner is thawing out.
We did have a great day yesterday. Annette called and said they were coming down again to swim. We used up the left overs from Saturday, and she brought T-Bones to grill. It was a nice pleasant day.
Hubert is working today.
Good News. I start back to work on Oct. 1. We got federal money, but no state. It is not nearly what this program needs, but hopefully the state will get its budgetsin check and dole some out.

Hello everyone
I had a nice weekend with Amanda. We went to Starved Rock Friday. Saturday Amanda went to visit her grandparents in the morning. Then went out to eat and to see a movie. Today we had a cookout and then we had to drop them off at the airport...boo.
Tomorrow I am going to sleep in...ahhh. Then I have to catch up with some cleaning around the house. Around 3pm Greg's daughter is going to drop by for a visit.
That's about it in my busy weekend.
Lately I have been having hip pain when sleeping. I started to think it was my bed. But then when I was awake enough I was turning in bed and realized the hip that hurt was not the one I was laying on. I immediately thought...if I put a pillow between my legs it would alleviate the pain. The next two nights I did this and had no pain...and had the best sleep. It's like my leg needed to be propped up or it hurts my hip. The only problem is I already use one pillow to "hug" while I sleep...and now the one between my legs. I decided to buy a body pillow today. So I am happy to have found the solution to my problem...yay!!!

It is a hot one today. I was running around with errands this morning, I am going to stay in orgo swim. not sure. I do need to do some food for our BBQ tomorrow, so I will probably stay in and do it.
