Hello everyone

Funny...or not so funny.  Lisa you were talking about Hubert being sick.  Greg is sick today.  It's his throat.  I am hoping it's not strep and that I don't catch it.  But he is miserable.

Our sky was looking pretty nasty about an hour ago.  It looked like night time.  It has since cleared up, but the high winds are still here.

I got my new tires but the tire sensors keep going off like they are going flat.  So I need to go in after work today so they can fix that.  I don't have time for this.  I was making pies for work tomorrow.  I might not have time to get my car fixed, get groceries and bake.  So I might have to just pick a couple of pies up at Bakers Square before work tomorrow.  Oh well.

Oh and I need go to Walgreens today too and figure out dinner.  Ya it looks like store bought pies.  I don't want Greg running around helping me when he's sick.

Lisa- Congrats on 50 years!!!  Do you have any big celebration plans?

Well time to get back to work....have a good day

Happy Hump Day,

Just think, 61 days until 2016. Then, our 50th anniversary is a short week later.

The sky is really looking weird. A really dark area to our east, and the wind is picking up. Naturally , I get to drive 30 miles to work today.

Hubert is feeling a lot better.

I will be off tomorrow and Friday. I hope to really clean the house and start to decorate for the holidays. I know, this nice Jewish gal loves the whole Christmas season.

Stay dry,

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello everyone

I decided to take a break from my auditing and come on here.  I just need to get away from that once in awhile....ugh.

I have a busy week.  Yesterday after work I took my car in for new tires...finally.  That took half the evening.

Then today after work I have to meet with a lady from church to talk about my involvement with the church activities.  I am already going to helping out with the church's homeless shelter.  A group of us is bring food in and feeding them.

Thursday I have to bake for work.  We have a Thanksgiving party.  I am making an apple pies.

So that leaves Wednesday for shopping.  I don't have much time.  My days are filling up fast.

This weekend we have to go help Greg's mom and dad clean out more of their house.  The bank is putting on the pressure.  We have no idea when they will be taking the house.  So we need to get stuff out ASAP

Lisa- I hope Hubert gets better fast.

Well like the saying goes...it's a good day to be a duck.  See ya later

Happy Tuesday,

Another rain filled day. I could so stay home today . No reason, just because it is nasty out. I will finish my holiday shopping this week. All I need to get is all of the gift cards. Then some little stocking gifts.

I am trying to decide what special treat I can take to Thanksgiving. Something snacky.

My poor hubby had to work aoo morning yesterday, then work last evening from 6 to 11. He should be at home, he wastold by the Dr. yesterday that he needs to stay home and rest. He has been sick since Thursday. I really wish she had put him in the hospital. Then he would of stayed down.At least he is on vacation starting Friday.

Where is everyone?

I am off to work, with the umbrella and rain gear.

Hugs.

Our big tree in the back yard decided to fall in that wind we had Thursday morning. It had to be close to 100 years old. It was big when we bought th house in 68. It fell to the east, into our neighbors yard. $1500 later, it is all cleaned up. And my new flower bed is a total mess.

At least it didn't fall into the pool.

Hello everyone

I don't have any plans today.  I was up at 4am and couldn't back to sleep.  SO I got up and started to clean.  I got the upstairs vacuumed and dusted and the bathroom cleaned.  I stripped the bed and washed that.  Came down stairs and vacuumed and swept and mopped and dusted.  Needless to say all is clean.  I am now relaxing watching episodes of CSI.

Greg comes home today.  Yay!!!  But not till later.

Lisa-  what happened exactly.  Did one of your trees get blown down?

Have a great Saturday

Good Morning.

The sun is out, so it will be a good day.

The tree mess is all cleaned up. The only thing that will have to be done in the spring is to replant the new flower bed, since most of it got trampled down yesterday, when the tree service was bringing it it out of the yard.

Today I need to do a few things, then go shopping. leftovers for dinner I think. lunch too.

Otherwise a quiet weekend.

What is on your agenda?

Hugs

Hello everyone

I have been on my own for the last two days.  Greg should be back on Saturday.  He is in Pittsburg on business.  Which is good he gets a bonus when he travels.  We end with few extra dollars in our pockets.  And with his business trip last month and this one we are going to use that money to buy new tires on my vehicle.  It's only a couple of years old but the one tire doesn't hold air very well any more and we have to refill it every couple of weeks.  They are also cracked.  Greg says that's because the car probably sat for long periods of time.  So new tires for me....yay!!!  Just in time for Winter.  I will have a 4X4 with traction control and new tires.  I won't know what to do with myself....LOL

I am doing groceries after work and then just heading home.  That's it for me.

Well back to work...thank goodness it's almost the end of the day.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

The wind was surely howling this morning as I was trying to sleep.  We (and everyone else in town) had our leaves piled near the street for pickup tomorrow.  Needless to say, many of the leaves are now back in the yards.  Todd hopes to get home tonight in time to get them cleaned up again before the "sucky truck" comes by tomorrow.  I have to stay late for a board meeting at work tonight, so I will be of no help.

Things in the northwest corner are going well.  David finally bought a car last night.  I'm settling into my job and Todd is his usual self.  I am getting excited for our trip.  I have a few things to do for Todd's party before I go, so I think I will focus on that the next few days.

That's about all for me today.

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Lisa,

I'll try to do that today since I have to go to the pharmacy to get some of my regular meds. and a pain killer med. that I got from the E.R. visit last night to check out my left foot. While I was cleaning my apartment and moving a few things around I picked up my little end table that was next to my bed and the marble top of the table fell on my left feet and hit it really good near my big toe, I didn't feel anything break in my foot and didn't hear anything break in my foot. This was around 1:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon, my foot swelled up and it bruised. I went to the E.R. and got their around 8:35 p.m. to have my foot checked out. From the x-rays that the E.R. Department did and I found out that I have a Contusion of the foot and there are no broken bones, I have local pain, swelling and bruising. I got back home around 11:15 .m. last night. I'm going to take it easy for the next few days to a week to play it safe with my left foot.

Good luck with your scapbook.

Have a good time at the play tonight.

Have a great day Lisa.
