Hello Dear Ones,
First let me apologize for going AWOL. I was working 12 hour days and had on-going issues getting onto the OH site from my desk at work. So many times I had good intentions and so many times, could not connect.
Then honestly, my life was so boring, I had nothing new to say………all I did was work. My house was filthy, no more gym visits; even tho I was paying a monthly membership. No more fun, work took over everything. I was ashamed that I put work ahead of everything. I was also angry that I was letting this happen to me. Last October, I had accepted a salaried position that was extremely low paying in exchange for a 24 hour work week. Instead I was working more than twice that and was feeling had. Work became consuming and I had to let my volunteering go at my church, I stopped seeing friends, stopped working out, stopped caring about my happiness because I had to accomplish the work of 3 people instead of a part-time person. Something had to give and it did. I finally decided to resign this week.
It was hard. I have never quit a job before, especially without having another. I didn’t plan it. It just happened. Nobody was more surprised than me when I sat down to write out my thoughts to the docs who never had time to sit down and talk to me about major issues going on in their business. After several long e-mails that I kept deleting to start over again, I just finally admitted to myself I was miserable and the part time job was a full time night mare. I changed the long-winded e-mail to 2 lines and resigned.
I missed talking to you all. I haven’t even had the time to read what has been going on. Over the next couple day, I am committed to reading what has been going on in every ones’ lives.
Hugs,
Sharon
Hi Chris and the rest of Illinois!
Busy day for me, but taking a short break! Today is Liv's last Prom. Tradition for all dances has been that we go to Monroe to get her/our hair done and lunch. This year, it was nice.....just the two of us! Usually, I have 3-6 girls for this part.
Grand March is in a half an hour, then to a park for pictures. After that, I am free to do as I wish. Todd is in Schaumburg with the neighbor. I may go to the movies, rent a movie, take a nap, read or garden......probably a combination of these.
I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful day that has been given to us!
Happy Saturday!
It is Green Day (green color for Green Day) in Itasca so we took all of our electronics we were collecting all year over to the collection area. Happy to have that trash out of the house. Now to get rid of some of the resale items that have been set aside over to the resale shop.
I have had my hummer feeders out for a couple of weeks. I have been following the migration map and they have been seen in Bloomington, IL already.
Off to the Creek to serve food today and then to the local Jr Hi for the spring play this evening. Tomorrow we are going to Cantigny. It is their annual open house for the greenhouse and it is free admission to the park. What is happening in your corner of IL?

Good afternoon Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I hope your sinuses get better soon. My doctor gave me Trazadone for sleep (50 mg) and it is great! No "hangover, groggy feeling" in the morning and I sleep well and soundly. It is not addictive. It helps on those nights that I can not shut down.
WHAT happened to Sharon?
I have been busy, busy, busy it seems. I can't believe how long it has been since I posted. Tuesday was 6 weeks since I returned home. WOW! I have been attending IOP 3 days a week and tomorrow, I "graduate" to continuing care, which is only one day per week. So, Thursday will be my "Rockford Day" unless I get employment in the city. I am not looking toward the city for work at the moment. I am semi-looking closer to home. I want to work in or for something more creative and have an application in at a flower shop. He said he would need me around Mother's Day, but I have not heard anything as of yet.
Tomorrow is Liv's last performance in a high school play. Todd's family is attending and I have chosen to usher. That way, I will not have to enact with them too much. THEN...Saturday is her last Prom and Sunday, she turns 18!!!!! Lots of "lasts" for her and soon there will be lots of "firsts". David turns 21 2 weeks from today.....so, my "little" kids are both approaching milestones.
On Saturday, her and I are getting up early to go get our hair done then lunching together. it will be a great time and I am looking forward to it!
Everyone have a lovely evening!
Hi Connie!
Is this the TNNA show? If so, my friend, Mary Beth Temple, is on her way there today. She designs patters for knitting and crochet. here are her links:

Look her up and tell her I say, "Hi!". Her daughter and Liv are good friends. They met at Marine Biology camp and have visited each other. She is the one Liv visited when she went to NYC for Christmas a couple of years ago.
Hello everyone
These last couple of days have been awful for me. My allergies are terrible. My head feels all woozy, and my ears keep popping. I just feel blah. Not to mention I have been sleeping terribly. I fall asleep fine...but then I wake up arround 1-2am and I can't get back to sleep. My mind is just going a million mph. I think about this and that and obsess over my ruined relationship and where it went wrong. And work stress. UGH!!!!
I need some good sleep. You know how they have rain dances....maybe there are sleep dances!!!!
All this will get better....as they say....this too shall pass. One day I will look back and wonder what the Hell I was so upset about.
Anyway....I do have my derby party to look forward to on Saturday. which will be super fun!!!
And I am pricing out different martial arts studios....because if you remember that was something I wanted to do. I think I shall do it this month!!! It will be a great hobby...it will help with the stress and burn calories!!!!
You know I really miss Sharon....I wish she came on here again.
Lisa- Have fun on your trip. Take lots of pictures and post them on Facebook!!!
Well see you all later.
Good Morning,
I am finishing up the things that need to be done before we leave for Bloomington tonight, and then leave for O'Hare in the morning. Now if the weather would clear.
The only bad thing is 2 of the couples that were going on the cruise, will not be coming. The mother had a heart attack yesterday morning. She is ok, but won't be up tp traveling that soon. The good thing is it happened before we left.
I will try to check in when I am able next week.
Have a good day,
Hugs,
