Hello everyone
I had a bad night. I seem to be moving backwards in this whole recovery process. And then I realized that it's because I am moving into a time when anniversaries and things are happening and it's really making it hard not to dwell on things. Then I keep thinking "I wonder if he is having a hard time" and then I say...who cares...focus on YOU!!! I think after I move past this hump it will get better.
I do have things to look forward to...I have a fondue night with some friends this Wednesday...and this Saturday I'm going to a bonfire. So I keep planning fun things...and when I am doing them I am able to enjoy them and forget all about my pain. It's great!!!
Today I am working late then nothing. No excitement there.
I am happy about the warmth today. I am wearing capris and sandals as we speak!!!
Dawn- I do hope things work out with Liv and this guy. Its great that she can be friends after a break up. I have never been able to do that. I prefer the "they don't exist" method myself. LOL

i posted too but I deleted it. I am at the store waiting for deliveries of the chairs. Fortunately I have a folding chair to sit on while I wait! In fact today will be a lot of waiting. Good thing I have my knitting with me! And my iPad. What else could I need?

Today is the day.....Liv graduates from High School tonight! I am so proud of her and excited for her. I hope she enjoys it too. She wants to have her hair done today and she is thinking of having lunch with her class at a local restaurant. She is still sleeping, so we will see.
Crystal.....I understand completely the sadness that goes with a break-up. Even when you know it is for the best, it is still difficult. He is not helping, as he is making her feel guilty and sadder than need be. Unfortunately for him, his behavior now will dictate how she interacts with him in the future. She would like to remain friendly (as she has with other ex-boyfriends) but we are not too sure that he can handle that role.
So....for me....I need to figure out what is on the menu for graduation dinner, get to my meeting, go to the chiro and spend the day with my girl! All in all, not a bad day.

Good evening Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I am getting ready to go to a movie with Liv. She has had a hard day. she finally broke up with her boyfriend. He is WAY too clingy/needy/demanding and she just does not need that right now. She asked that I sit in for support and in case he did not take it well. I did and he did not. I am very happy that I could do this. 4 months ago, I would have been in NO shape to provide this support nor would she have trusted me to provide it!!!! YIPPEE!
So......after all the tears, I think she is relieved. Unfortunately, we will be on "high alert" in case there be any stalking behavior. She has chosen the movie instead of Bacalaureate. (sp?)
I am just beginning to work Step 4, but I have to say......once I did the first 3, things have really changed for me. These three are all summed up by: "I can't; He (she/it) can; I think I'll let him." The peace of not being "in charge" has made a huge difference in how I look at life these days! I see how it can help with any issue/problem.
Gotta get going!

Hi Peeps,
Yesterday is a blur. After church we went to St Charles to spend the day with my brother and sister in law and their 3 yr old grand baby. My daughter and her family came later and it was a grand baby extravaganza.
Today I am cleaning and disposing. I also see my chiro.
Crystal, I am going to CR tonight.
I love spring but hate the annual ant parades in my kitchen.
Hang in there Crystal, I know your job thing will get better now that you are back to the old system.

Crystal, when she sets an impossible goal, Just smile. That will throw her off. Ok, I am being bad.
I want to leave work early today. About 3:30.I want to be able to get home and get dressed, then head for Bloomington, I should be home by 9 or so. It will be a long day, since I woke up before 5.
I really love how we are all able to open up in here and say what we want and talk about our problems . It really is a sisterhood.
