Hi Peeps,

I am enjoying being off and purging. The more I get rid of, the more lighter I begin to feel. Yesterday a truck came by and took some things. Today I am working on more purging. I cannot believe how much I have accumulated in the 10 years we have lived here. I thought if I could fit it nicely in this house it was fine. Now I know that is not even close to true. It was never a notion for me, to have just 5 t shirts, 5 pair of shorts, 5 bras etc........well I am on my way to being more "normal" as in part of what is the norm...hahahahahhahahahaha, whatever that means?

Now my grandbabies have a stomach thing, so I am staying away for now. I cant handle vomiting and diarrhea.

I am off to find some lunch....

Hugs,

Sharon

Good Evening,

I just got my invite to the 50th class reunion for the class of 64. Like they say, the cherck is in the mail. Can't wait to go to it. Who would of thought, that over 80% are still alive.

Tomorrow is my last offical day for work this year. We will be back with a 2 week cooling program in July, but no more wor****il Sept. 1 until then.

I am going to change out of my work cvlothes, and go outside to "help", Hubert. He is designing a solar heater for the pool. We will see how that goes.

Have a great evening,

Hugs,

Lisa

Good afternoon,

Sorry that you didn't last to long at work today. Sounds like a good idea to rest up. Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well today. I bet you do. I hope you feel better soon. The last time I was at a Chicago White Sox game was in 1988.

Sounds like a good idea to stop by at a Walgreens clinics.

Same here with my when I'm sick/not feeling well.

Maybe, the size of the class when it started was 13, by half way to into the schedule there was about half that size and on the last day of class there was about 4 students left in the class (I was one of the 4 left in the class). Lets see what happens.

Have a great evening and I hope you feel better soon.

Hi friends,

I spent the day with a friend putting the inventory in the computer. Together we worked 8 hours! And of course we're not done, but we made a huge dent. Now I can input as stuff comes in and it will be fine.

Crystal, I hope you feel better. Maybe you should look in to allergy shots. I know several friends who think they help.

It looks like everyone was really busy over the weekend since there weren't a lot of posts. Hope you all had fun!

Hello everyone

I didn't last but a half day at work.  I am home now relaxing.  I am just so stuffy and well...lets just say everything from the neck up is not feeling good.  I just want to feel like me again.  I also hope I feel better by Friday because I am supposed to go to the Sox game.  My first time ever going to a game!!!! I want to feel good enough to enjoy myself.

One good thing about being sick...I was too miserable to obsess about relationship stuff.  I just was too focused on my physical problems...Hahaha.

I think I will stop in at one of those Walgreens clinics.  Get some medicine.

You know I will have to tell you something.  When I get sick it makes me want to eat crap.  I know some people can't eat or lose their appetite.  But I seem to crave junk.  I just ate some Oreos....yep..I'm bad.

Jason-  I am sure they will calls from everyone in your class wanting their certificates too.  That person will be a bit busy depending on the size of your class.

Well time to get going to that clinic thing.  Have a good day

Topic: State of Illinois insurance approval for revision

Hello, I am a newbee to this group but had lapband prcedure in Jan 2011. I am going to discuss having my band taken out and having the sleeve procedure done wth my dr on June 19. My husband has healthlink insurance thru the state of illinois, they covered having lapband done but I wondered if anyone has had success in having them approve a revision. Thank you.

Good day everyone,

I've been busy off & on lately. I'm taking care of my aunt's dog and cat since last Thursday, and they might go back home tonight or tomorrow at some point. So far today I did a load of laundry and now waiting for the dryer to get done. This past Friday I called up the continuing education department at Wilbur Wright College to find out if I'll get my "certificate of completion" certificate for passing my Digital Photography class that I took from March 29, 2014 to May 10, 2014 and I was told (asked) "Didn't the teacher give out the certificate?" and I said "No.". The person that I talked to will make one up for me and mail out to me this Tuesday (which is today), I'm happy that I'll be getting my "certificate of completion" for my digital photography class, in which I'll get it in the mail in a few days. This will be my fourth certificate of completion that I got from Wilbur Wright Chicago.

The rest of the week I'll be playing it by ear. To bad that the Chicago Blackhawks lost last night, I just hope they win the next three games.

How is everyone?

Take care everyone and a great day.

Jason.

Hello everyone

I have done nothing productive all day.  I just have no energy.  It doesn't help that this tooth is bothering me too and I have to take pain killers on top of the decongestants.  Ugh,

I try to get away from taking so many allergy meds but in the end I always pay for it.  Yes Lisa I am allergic to grass and weeds and trees and mold.  I can be outside but obviously dense forest is not a good idea.  Does this mean I can never go camping or hiking without being miserable.  How sad.

I have to get off my lazy butt and do my laundry.  I also wanted to make chicken Parmesan meat balls....but I don't think that will happen.  I just don't feel like doing anything.

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day....see ya later.

Good Morning on this first holiday of summer.

Please take the time to think of all of those that are no longer with us. Especially the men and women who gave their all to keep this land we call home free. Remember, freedom doesn't come free.

Yesterday, I did a few things, then relaxed outside most of the afternoon. I smoked a small pork roast for dinner. Today. I will be smoking some chicken, adding Pork and beans, potato salad, and a salad to round out my meal. This way, I will have leftovers for the rest of the week. ( that helps me, so I can do easy dinners instead of cooking)

Crystal, I know what you are going through. I also have a grass and weed allergy, but mine comes out in black and blue eyes, and rashes. I try to avoid fresh cut grass, or messing with weeds. Benadryl helps most times.

Sharon, why families treat each other badly, who knows. You and G don't deserve such treatment. You are both good people.

Connie, I hope you and Kay can relax today.

Chris, You need to relax a bit too.

Nancy, check in please. You to Dawn. Lisa, Joan too.

We may get some rain this afternoon. Hopefully it will hold off until everyone goes back to work tomorrow.

I only have tomorrow and Wed. to work, then I am off for the month of June. I will work a couple of weeks in July, then off until the end of August. I think I will enjoy my summer break.

What is everyone doing today? I will be staying home, Hubert is working. I have a few small things I need to finish, then out in the sun (shade) to plant two new hostas I bought over the weekend.

Hugs to all, Stay safe today.

Lisa

Topic: RE: Sunday Roll Call

Hi Friends,

We went to my in-laws early this morning to watch a live stream of our niece's graduation from Amerst near Boston. There was a party and about 10 people came, all cousins and aunts. We were on our way back home by 11am. My in-laws were pretty brutal to my husband and my sister-in-law. I just dont understand families and the tension for no reason. The last time my husband saw everyone was when he cooked for Mother's Day 2 weeks ago. Today, they treated him like he was a loser! And nothing bad has occured in between those two dates. They told my poor sister in law off also. I felt so bad for her. My father in law did not acknowledge me. So sad.

It was a gorgeous day. I dont recall ever having such beautiful weather on Memorial Day. We drove to Dyer and had bar-be-que at Hog Haven, one of our faves.

Crystal, the allergies are bad. Try to netti if you can.

I am off to take an early shower, put on my jammies and just chill (it's only 6:15p). I just feel like it's what I need.

Hugs dear ones,

Sharon
