Hello everyone

I had a great BBQ yesterday with friends.  I did good with food...no bad foods

Here is a weird thing I found out yesterday that Amanda's father is stalking my Facebook page.  Which is highly inappropriate since he is married.  So that little blurb on Facebook was to make him mad or shame him either way it was to let him know I know and to let the whole world know about his secret.  He has always had a problem with fidelity and when he found out I lost a lot of weight he tried his best to see me....to see how I look.  Why???  He is married!!!  Leave me alone.  Anyway I went overboard on my post but I have taken his crap for to long and wanted to draw the line before he stepped over it.

So anyway I am going to the Ribfest today and I don't know if this will be any fun.  But I am going because I never went and who knows I might enjoy myself.

That is it for me today....but that's enough.  What about you guys?

Well I better get a workout in before the festivities.  See you all later.  Have a good day.  Bye

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Sounds like everyone has had a good weekend and Holiday so far.  We did nothing special.  We DID go into Winnebago to watch fireworks and although their show was just, "OK", we could see many other shows in the distance.  there was one that seemed to be south of US 20, but close and the went on and on and on and on......I want to find out who was putting those on to go see next year.  It was NOT Downtown Rockford, as we could also see them and they were a bit more north.

I am feeling better after accepting how Todd is and letting it go.  It will be what it is to be.  I hope I can keep this serenity as far as both he and David are concerned.

Today, we have talked about going to either Milwaukee or Madison.  We shall see when Todd and Liv wake up.  David is not here as he is house-sitting for Amber.

Tomorrow, I want to get started on packing for the trip.  I am really looking forward to the time away.  We travel on Wednesday and if there are no delays, we should be watching fireworks over the ocean Wednesday night.

Everyone have a spectacular day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hello everyone

I had a good 4th of July....I hope you did too.  I did well with my eating too.  I went to a BBQ and had italian sausage (without the bun) a little bit of potatoes...that's it.  My friends even said is that all you're going to eat.  Ummm...yep I'm full I don't need anything else.  I tried a glass of chocolate wine and it was the best wine I ever tasted.  It was super yummy.

Today another day another BBQ.  At another friend's house in Bolingbrook.  I am going to have another good food day too.

I have to get off my duff today and exercise.  Get my butt a moving

Lisa- you need to get the structure up quick because I think after today there will be rain in the forecast again.

Well have a wonderful day everyone...see ya

Good Morning!

Another beautiful day. I love summer.

I go back to work on Monday, until the 23rd. We have a summer cooling program that gives you $150 toward your electric, to help with your AC costs. It is only available for those over 60,  Social Security Disability or SSI, and children younger then 60 months (the 5th birthday). We will be swamped.

Kim, I saw your berries on FB. They look delish.

Connie, I wish our neighborhood had something like a pig roast during the summer, but the last time we tryed it, it was only a couple of households, and none of them  still live here.

Hopefully we get the new basement entrance enclosed today. We will see.I have everything ready for a noonish cookout. Hamburgers and hot dogs, corn, baked beans, a different type of potato salad, strawberry pretzel salad, and Annette's bringing pasta salad and a jello salad. To much food as usual.

Have a great day,

Lisa

Happy 4th🇺🇸

Went strawberry picking this morning. Went for a run and finished planting some flowers and hostas. I truly enjoyed seeing Kay and Connie yesterday!  What a beautiful place they have!  Seeing all the beautiful colors of yarn inspired me to come and and pick up the knitting needles and see if I remembered how to knit.  I usual crochet.  I must say, after knitting for about 10 min, I asked myself why I ever learned crocheting.  I love knitting and the look much more!

i gotta get ready to go over to some friends house for a fourth party.  We can walk, so that's good!  Going out of town tomorrow for another party.  Better get ready.  The next time I head out of town for work is July 21 to PA!

god Bless,

kim

Hi and top of the day everyone,

Happy 4th of July everyone. Today is an off day for me, I'm just having a good time with my aunt's cat and one of her two dogs, they'll go back home this coming Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Today I'm going to do some reading and watch a movie or two.

I see everyone is being busy one way or another which can be good that is if you don't burn yourself out.

Lisa, I hope you feel better soon.

I hope everyone is doing good.

Have a great, fun, and safe day on this fine 4th of July. Take care everyone.

Well, I thought the errands would be brief. Went to Lowes to.  Get a safe for the store--of course that involved getting help since I couldn't lift and also walking all over the store since I got incorrect info at the info desk! Then, like a fool I went to the grocery store for a "few"things" and we all know how that goes, not to mention holiday shoppers including men who had clearly not been grocery shopping for a while...need I say more? Time for a nap!

Hello everyone

Happy 4th....I hope everyone has festive plans.  So far I have had a lazy day.  Later today I am going to a friend's house and me and a couple of friends are watching fireworks from her backyard and drinking chocolate wine.  I never had chocolate wine before.  I hope it's yummy.

I had a sad evening last night.  I let memories of last 4th of July get to me.  It's just the holiday blues....I hate that.  I am sure he is enjoying himself.  But I woke this morning with a better attitude.  With or without him I really have a good life and I have to be grateful and happy for that.

Funny I read a story about how men hate being alone more than women do???  Really.  I find that interesting.

I keep forgetting what day it is.  This holiday weekend is throwing me off.

Connie your pig roast sounded great.

Have a good day all...bye

Good Morning,

We have no plans for today. Hubert is working, and I have been cooking for tomorrow. I even have gotten my wash done and the bed changed. I am going out to clear the outdoor table, and to sweep the deck. We will be using it tomorrow for a small cookout.

I am still not feeling good, and last night my ears were stuffed up, but today they are cleared up. I was not wanting to spend the day at the ER. (Since I am deaf on the right side, any time I get an ear infection, I really can't hear anything. )

Tomorrow Annette and Rick are coming to help Hubert again. I could get spoiled seeing them every week.

Have a safe 4th,

Hugs,

Lisa
