TGIF,
I am at work, passing time until I go over to the hospital to get fitted for a hearing aid. I knew the day would come, but I was hoping it wouldn't come until I was a lot older.
We went and seen Les Miserables last night. I really didn't even want to blink, I was afraid I would miss something!
I want to clean tomorrow, then we have a concert to go to tomorrow night.
3 more days to work, then off untill the last of August.
Have a great day,
HUGGERS,
Good afternoon Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I got a little yard work done today then a noon meeting. I have a 7 pm meeting and then am going to talk to a woman about becoming my sponsor. I am ready for this next step. I am excited!
Tomorrow is the second Open Market in Freeport so I will be busy with that. I have a couple more things that I would like to make but after last time, I think I have enough inventory. I hope I come home with less stuff and more cash tomorrow.
Summer is half over and I need to find employment before Fall. I need to start getting on sending out applications and resumes. It is a necessary evil. I am just not independently able to provide for myself, especially with Liv going to school. I just hope I can find something that I like and in which I can be useful to someone. I KNOW I will make nowhere near what I was making last year, but some is better than none.
Everyone have a great evening!
Hi friends,
Well we had our first slow day today, but I spent the whole day at the computer doing store work that had to be done, so it was productive anyway. Kay waited on customers and then ran to the grocery store. (It's a good thing we moved our big fridge here!) Tomorrow we have some classes starting so it will be busier. Next Wed our accountant is coming by to teach us a thing or two! LOL We've only balanced the cash register once, but she assures us we won't get in trouble for being mathematical idiots!
I hope your week went well. I certainly have enjoyed the moderate weather!

Hello everyone
Well it's almost Friday!!! Yeah!!! My neck is still hurting but it is getting better every day. If it was worsening I would see a doctor. But I think it's one of those things that will just take a couple of weeks to work itself out.
Today I am making oven fajitas. I made them before. Instead of standing by the stove and stirring the whole time...you just pop everything into the oven and viola its done and its wonderful.
Today after work I have to run a few errands and that's about it. What do you guys have going on?
Yesterday I went to this little hole in the wall BBQ place and it was soooo delicious. I had the chicken and potaotes...and couldn't fini**** But I wanted to!!!
Well I better get going see you all later have a great day. Bye
Sorry, I had mine in Madison, WI and a lot had theirs in the suburbs. I hope someone on the list went there but I can't think of anyone. Connie

Curious to see if anyone has had to do a revision DS or any weight loss surgery there??
Good evening Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I am home, safe and sound. We had a really good trip. I learned a lot about Liv's new campus and was assured that this is a good school. We toured a dorm across the hall from Liv's and each girl has her own bedroom with a common living/kitchen area. As we were leaving, I realized that we were looking into the window of the dorm that she is assigned and there was a STOVE with oven. We are hoping that it stays until move-in.
I went to the beach every night and the last two nights, I went south to Pawley's Island, which is residential and completely different from the tourist trap of Myrtle Beach. My next-door neighbor's family has a huge beach house there and I will definitely consider looking into renting it some time. It seems expensive at approximately $2000 per week, but it has 6 bedrooms/5 bathrooms and all the comforts of home. If 3-4 families went together, it would be cheaper than a hotel! Maybe we should all go!
I had a fantastic time spending my "alone time". I went to meetings and just enjoyed being alone. I worked hard on living in the moment and not thinking too much about the future or the past. If the "hotel" would have been better, it would have been perfect. Turns out, it was not a hotel but a condo resort and they seemed not to care about customer service for those that had rented "studios". The window was facing the parking lot and the sidewalk went right next to the window. The window was 6 feet from the bed. There was no sheer, just black-out drapes, so the drape had to be shut at all times. DEPRESSING if I would have allowed such. Oh well.....live and learn.
Now, I have to get ready for the Open Market on Friday evening.
I am sorry I missed the surprise for Connie and Kay, but I hope you liked the restaurant. You know I was there in spirit!
Everyone have a great evening! I will be sending good energy to Watson as he has his hip replaced tomorrow.
I am so happy for you! Follow doctor's orders as strictly as possible for the best results!
Busy day for me at work too. I am glad I put a pot of soup on this morning. All I have to do is serve it.
Hugs, sorry for the quick flyby.
Hi folks,
Not much new here. I've been at the computer since nine, now it's time to knit a little.
