Hi everyone,

I have been so busy I haven't even had time to read these, but I did catch up tonight. Had my yearly physical today and everything was fine. Just need to schedule a mammo which I tend to avoid. Here's

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm doing great since I had my right hip replaced two weeks ago today. I can't believe it's been that long already. I'm in rehab for further care for my right hip so I can get my right hip healed. Therapy is going great I reached most of my goals and still have a few more to go. I do have a follow-up with my surgeon on August 6, 2014 in the morning time/, hopefully I'll find out soon on when I can go back home from my appointment let alone from my therapy people. I have therapy about five to six times a week.

I'll try to update on what my doctor has to say at my appointment next week.

I hope everyone is doing good since the last time I check in here.

Have a great evening everyone and take care.

Happy Hump Day,

I have been busy packing for our trip this morning. Also changing purses, and I decided to take a small shoulder bag and tennies for when we do some of the activities in Niagara Falls. But, everything is in one suitcase, and no overnight bag, so I am happy. I have friends that can go for a week with just their backpacks. I really don't know how they do it.

Kim, it is nice to see you. Come in whenever you can, you are always welcomed.

Dawn, I agree with Crystal. Also, I am sure he has done dumb things too, but of course, that's different. Then also, he may feel a bit quiilty that he enjoys his brewfest, and you no longer join him. It is very child like to blame you for stuff .

Crystal, your evening sounds like fun. Enjoy your new guy.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello everyone

I have been so busy with work and after work it's all I can do to hop on here.  So I am sneaking on here really quick before I let work completely over-run my day again.

Today after work I am actually going to help Greg (that's the new guy I am dating) at his church.  He does a lot of behind the scenes stuff with computers and networking.  He sets up the computers for the new school year and asked if I would help to make quick work of it.  I said sure....why not.  For our efforts the church ladies will feed us...LOL!!!  I'm sure it will be good.  Church ladies always cook yummy food.

I still have a welcome home party to plan for Amanda.  And I will be planning a girls day and we are going to go shopping for new clothes for her and she wants a chocolate cake shake from Portillios (lucky for me this doesn't appeal to me at all) and she needs a hair cut.  So we are going to go out and do some girl things.

Dawn-  I think your husband is over reacting.  Was it a bad and inconvenient and expensive mistake....but it's not you cheated on him or lied to him.  To me those are harder to forgive.  The other thing there is nothing to forgive....you just deal with it.  Maybe he is taking this incident and using it as an excuse to get out other "issues or anger" he has let build up.  Just a thought.  I was thinking back to when you were saying how closed off he was at your therapy session.

Well I better gat back to work.  Have a good day all.  Bye

Good late evening Kim and Illinois!

I got back late yesterday from Milwaukee from what was supposed to be a quick overnight on Saturday.  Long story shorter......I dropped Todd off with his friends at the Brewfest and went to check in at the hotel.  I got a bit lost in the city and had to use a bathroom.  I apparently parked in the wrong place and his car was being towed as I came back (only after about 15-20 minutes).  He was FURIOUS with ME and still seems to be.  I wound up staying over while he came home with our friends.  I left the hotel yesterday morning by taxi at 9:15 and finally retrieved the car (after about $ 460.00, not counting extra hotel and food...EXTORTION, I say) about 1:40 pm.  I used my private accounts to pay for this error but he is still behaving like an ass.  Some days, I am not really sure how much of his behavior I can take.  I am turning it over on a daily basis.  It's really all I can do for now.

Today, Liv and I got haircuts and she picked up a few things for her dorm.  Now, we are thinking of seeing a movie.  Late, but we want to get in all the free movies that we can before she leaves.

Tomorrow, I will be in Rockford for a couple of hours, then home for yard work, I think.  I am also thinking of signing up for some classes at the community college.  I will have to find employment before too long and it may help.

Janet and I had a nice visit the other day.  We really do need to stay in better touch.

Everyone have a lovely evening!

Hi guys,

I got back from Harrisburg, PA yesterday.  Been super busy with work and running Maddie around with cheer.  Speaking with runnng, I've been running a lot lately.  I invested in a Garmin Forerunner 220.  I love it!  I've also been working on some knitting projects.  Love visiting the site still....it truly keeps me on track and I love reading about you guys!

Hello everyone

Monday is my usual hectic day at work but I wanted to get on here.

My weekend was so busy.  I was in Chicago all day Saturday with friends.  We ended up eating at this restaurant called Nookies Tree it was so good...it was BYOB and I brought chocolate wine of course....LOL.  A delicious herb roasted chicken.  Then we went to a male burlesque show.  Oh we had fun and the men were beautiful.  Makes me feel like I need to go to a beauty shop or something.  I didn't get home till 2am and I had to be up at 6am!!!  Then yesterday I went on my first bike run for charity...it was for dogs.  We ended up near Round Lake.  But you stop along the way and get stamped and then at the end you get to pick 5 cards and the best hand wins.  I almost won....I had 2 kings, a queen, a jack and an ace!!!! I also cheated a little and went to Fudruckers and had a cheeseburger (no fries) it was super yummy!!!!  I didn't get home till after 9...I was tired.

Today after work more tennis lessons!!!!  No rest for me!!!

So hope you guys had a good day.  See ya

Good Morning,

Where has everyone been this weekend? I was home both Saturday and Sunday. We will lay low this week, since we will be leaving Friday for Ohio and New York. We are joining Monica, Scott and Morgan at Niagara Falls. On Friday, we will be stopping at Sandusky, Ohio, to check out what is fun around there, then meeting the kids in N.Y. on Sun. Just a fun week.

Today I want to get everything together I want to take, do some stuff that I need to finish, and see what else I can get into. I already did some phone stuff, and now I want to pick up the house a bit.

So what is new in your world?

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi All,

The humidity has finally broke, so breathing is easier again. I am so thankful that yesterday was overcasr and cooler. It made it so much easier for my guys to work.

Today all I did was cook for dinner, picked up the kitchen, and a load of laundry. I just want to veg.

What are all of you doing this last weekend of July? Not to bring up an unpleasant subject, but schools around here are starting between the 15th and 22nd of August. Where is the summer going???

Have a great afternoon,

Hugs,

Lisa
