Good Morning,
Just a normal Sunday for me. I have to finish up vacation stuff, then head to Walgreens to make prints of pictures, fold the last load of laundry, and I am sure get into some other stuff.
Otherwise, same old stuff.
huggers,
Hi all!
baby birthday party and a nap! Otherwise a normal Sunday. Vegging is a treat now that we're working!

Happy Sunday! We are off in a short while first for B-fast and then to Cantigny. It is French Connection Day at the park. The day commemorates the chapter of the park's benefactor with his involvement in the Battle of Cantigny during WWI. Should be a fun day and near the end we are staying for a concert (some type of a classic rock cover band) there at 3pm. I bought a rotisserie chickie, deboned it and have some fruit and veggies in the fridge to take in a cooler with us along with our bag chairs. We joined as two year member plus yesterday. In addition to free parking we receive other discounts at the park, golf course and invitations to a few other special events that the one year members do not receive. All it will cost us is the gas to get there and if we eat in the restaurants the $$ for that. I am looking forward to seeing the park in the other seasons of the year. What a wonderful jem in the western 'burgs.
What is going on with the rest of you in Lincoln Land?

Hi friends,
Not much news here--just a normal weekend. Tomorrow we go to a birthday party for a one year old. Ought to be a hoot! We went shopping at Kohls last night and you'd have thought we were the grandparents! It was hard to restrain our shopping. The baby is the daughter of Kelly who some of you met at the store. I think we've adopted Kelly and her family!
have a good weekend!

Good Morning,
We are home from a great week. We were in Put-in-Bay, Ohio last weekend. A nice place to visit, once. There are more bars and restarunts then anything else, a great beach, and loads of people. I am sure if you are much younger, you would enjoy it more.
We stopped at the Lucy/Desi museum in Jamestown, New York, on Sunday. It was a fun thing to do. We were overloaded with Lucy and Desi information.
Monday we took a tour of the American side of the falls. It is the only way to go if you want to see a lot of stuff in one day. A bit pricy, but worth every penny.
Tuesday we went on a ride in the erie canal. A lot of info, and rain.
Wednesday we did the Canadian side, and went to a dinner show, O Canada, Heh! A delightful evening of show and dinner.
Thursday, back to the U.S. and we went to Frankenmuth, Mi. Where I bought the store at Bronners. I needed lights to finish my project for the Flea Market at the Burgoo Festival in October. I also got some more Christmas stuff for us.
Home last night, will catch up with everything today.
And how was your day?
Huggers,
Yes, Cantigny has a lot of pros come in and shoot pics. You should have great picture locations for your son's pictures especially in the fall.

Welcome, Gina! I only drop by here now and again, but I like to stay in touch in what's going on in Illinois WLS circles and it's a good reminder to stay healthy! I had the duodenal switch 6.5 years ago and could not be happier!
Best of luck to you on this amazing journey!
Nicolle

Happy almost the week-end. A fast fly by for me. I am in between things to do at work. I am learning how to do payroll for the department . . . There are so many situations, civilian, extra for roll call, union vs non-union, missed punches . . . now onto the crime stats . . .
What is happening in your world? We are going to Cantigny this Sunday and will stay for the concert at 3PM. Taking some cold chickie and fruit to snack on. We are also going back on Thursday for a free event there regarding photo tips while taking pictures in the gardens.

Hello friends,
I've had a moderately busy day marking new products and talking to visitors, but I also had time to knit for a while. Tonight is a Chamber of Commerce event which I might attend if I have any energy left at the end of the day. Otherwise, things are going well.
Hope all of you are doing OK
