Hello everyone

I am getting more excited about Amanda coming back.  I can't wait to see her.  I got her flight info today. Well Peace Corp will book her flight with the cheapest they can find.  I guess the cheapest flight they could find is goes to Bloomington.  So I will be driving down to Bloomington to go get Amanda.  Oh well.  The time I spend driving down there is about the same I would be fighting traffic to O'Hare...

Today I am going to Marianos for produce and such for Amanda.  And then that's it for my day. 

I did buy a bike yesterday.  I bought a mountain bike....a Mongoose.  No special accessories....just a lock. 

Did I mention I a excited I will see Amanda soon!!!!

Ugh... I hate the humidity!!!  

Well I'm day 5 of the pre-op....9 more days  This darn shakes are too sweet.... it's making me nauseated! Anyways I was also having chicken broth.... and that was ok. But another sleever told me about Swanson's "other" broths... I got the Mexican tortilla... and OMG... I almost cried.. it was the best thing ever!!! I used to make my tortilla soup using the soup starters packages... heck no I will use this broth as the base, post op I can add shredded chicken and veggies and perfect.. not alot of other garbage would be in it!!... That so gave me the boost I needed!!!

I also went on a job interview today an office job. I informed them that I was having a "procedure" and would be available 10 days post op. It's an sit down job, so no strenuous work, or any lifting.  Wish me luck my unemployment runs out end of Sept. :(

What brand of bike, speeds, color, accessories? I finally talked Dave into me buying him an adult tricycle. He misses riding. He can no longer navigate being on a two wheeler with his neuralogical condition.

Another round of payroll today and I finally feel comfortable with most of it.

Hello everyone

I spent the whole day yesterday getting my place ready for Amanda.  And I even made some chocolate chip cookie dough and froze it.  It will be ready for her.  I ran out and did some shopping and I tell you by the end of the day I was pooped. 

Today I have one thing left to do I didn't get done yesterday.  I have to wash my comforter.  I want my bedding nice clean for her.  Then of course I have lots of grocery shopping to do and meals to plan. 

But the most exciting thing I am doing today....I am buying a bike.  Yep...I decided it's time.  Amanda will be moving her stuff out of my closet so I will have room for more things.  I let her store things in my closet while she was gone.  I can't wait to go bike riding again!!!

Anyway, Amanda won't know her exact flight info till later today or tomorrow.  Leave it to Peace Corp to wait till the mast minute.  I wish we knew so I can plan more.
